OKW, how do you get to your room from Olivias?

Just back and realized we always walked back to our room (past Miller) from the main pool etc. Did we miss something that would have been easier, not that it killed us but we walked all day at the parks.

Depending on where in the resort your villa is, you can always take one of the buses and get off at the appropriate stop. Just make sure you get on one that is going into the resort rather than leaving for a theme park or DTD (there is generally an internal bus, also).

The bus that returns from DD stops at HH first on it's way into the resort. The bus marquee is usually marked "Internal". Get on that bus and it usually goes to the Miller Road stop next (sometimes it goes to Peninsular, South Point and Old Turtle Pond before Miller) and then stops at the other areas before returning to HH on it's way back to DD.

Otherwise, you can walk to the Peninsular Road stop (just across the bridge from Olivia's) and catch the next bus (any bus will do). The bus will then continue on to South Point, Old Turtle Pond and then Miller Road - before stopping at HH on it's way out of the resort.

If you have any doubt about the route for the bus, just ask the driver (of ANY bus) and they'll be happy to assist.

Enjoy!

We walked to the first internal bus stop (after HH) and then rode the first bus that came along to Old Turtle Pond.

I know OKW has many buildings, but what is the range for how long it takes to walk to Olivia's?

Thanks.

We stayed in the 40's one time, and it took about 10-15 minutes to walk to Olivia's. Of course, a stop at the Gurgling Suitcase made it worth the walk every time! :) I tried the same tactic when I stayed in Bldg. 11 a couple week's ago, but I couldn't pull off that "hot and thirsty" look. I guess I didn't look pathetic enough, until we walked the golf course(dusk-no golfers) from hole 7 back to hole 3, and then back up to Olivia's for drinks and dinner. :goodvibes

DTD Internal bus, got it.

Disclaimer: I LOVE OKW! Great resort.

That said, the first time you stay there you will probably be dumbfounded by all this "too big" talk frequently thrown at SSR. The nice thing about SSR is that the Carriage House / High Rock Spring are right in the middle of the resort. At OKW, the common buildings are all toward the front. Many of the buildings are so far away that one wouldn't even consider trying to walk.
