OKW Help

My home resort is OKW and I'm looking for input on what buildings offer what views, quiet, traffic, etc. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Bob, we just stayed in bldg. 46 in June and loved it! It is on South Point Road and our villa, #4622, had a wonderful view of the Trumbo Canal. Very quiet.

We also enjoy most of the buildings on Turtle Pond Road (although when we stayed in bldg. 38 last September, our villa was so dark it felt like a cave). Bus noise was also an issue there, although it does not usually bother us. We've never stayed close to the pool area at Turtle Pond, so I can't speak to the noise levels there.

We've never stayed on Miller Road, either, although that it where "my" building is as far as the deed goes - #20.

We like the views from the Miller's Road villas, but the lack of a second door to the bathroom from the laundry is a bit of an issue.

Our very favorite is the South Point area. We especially like building 55, but had a great time in building 52 last January. I was a little worried about the fact that the buses turn around there, but we never once heard them from our 2nd floor 2 bedroom.

Have you ever stayed where the bus turns around? We found the units near the Miller's Road turn around a bit noisy, but building 52 we heard nothing of the buses!

yes I have stayed in building 52 - we were very close to where the bus turned in and we could heard it.

but it is more the parking situation - sometimes the bus comes very close to hitting the cars/trucks/vans.
