OKW GV Wait List success!

Wanted to share my good news! On June 30 I made a ressie for a GV at OKW. We wanted Sunday - Friday starting January 11(with our last night moving into 2 studios due to point count). At that time I got M - F, but Sunday was not available. So, they wait listed me for that Sunday.

Hooray -- Hooray! on August 29 my Sunday night came through for the GV. Now we have to move only once and that is not bad at all. The system does work, but patience is essential.

Just 104 more days -- DGD -- age "almost 3" came downstairs at her home and said to her mommy, "Mickey Mouse loves me." Yes. he does, honey and we are all going to see him in January. Now I pray for pleasant weather -- doesn't have to be hot, just pleasant. 60-70 degrees will seem like a heat wave to us coming from Cincinnati.

Great news on getting the GV. You may very well get good weather in the 70's (maybe even low 80's). I just wanted you to be prepared that you could also get some nights that could be in the 30's or 40's and maybe even days that run in the 40's-50's. In fact, it's not impossible that you would get ALL of the above during your trip. Be sure to toss in some gloves and layers along with the shorts and bathing suits and you'll be fine.
