OKW Grand Villa Question

Can anyone tell me if there are any HA Grandvillas at OKW?

And what are the chances of getting a Grand Villa 7mos out for Presidents Day week and 1st week in August.

Yes, there is a HA Grand Villa. But possibly only one since most of OKW was built in the early-mid 90's. I do recall that there was one building that had a Grand Villa on the first and second floor (as opposed to the 2nd & 3rd floor for the others). They may have included one in the three "new" buildings which have elevators. Remember though, that the upper floor of the grand villa isn't accessible.

There are 2 HCA GVs at OKW. One is on the ground floor of building 48 and the other is in Building 63 with elevator access to the first level of the GV. Neither of these GVs has HCA access to the second floor of the GV itself, only the first level is accessible.

Doc, do you know how many GVs are on the ground floor and what buildings they are in? We're heading down on 1/14 and my wife had unexpected knee surgery on 11/2 and has a difficult time with stairs. Never did get a good answer from MS although it's requested on our ressie.

There is only one OKW GV with a ground floor entrance, it is the HA GV in bldg 48, there are two GVs, one HA one non-HA, with elevator access in Bldg 63. All 24 remaining OKW GVs are up one flight of steps.

That would kind of be unknown, of course the majority of folks do not want an HA unit. You can call at 7 months and once they verify that there is a GV available at OKW, have them contact Special Needs/Special services. They can block an HA GV for you if one is available.

I got a Handicap GV at OKW in January 2010 and I would have gotten one for April vacation of 2012 but I was 1 point short so I went with a 2 bedroom and a studio. We were in the GV with the elevator up to it and it overlooked the golf course and we loved it. Highly recommend doing a GV! Oh and they were both at 7 months out.
