OKW Grand Villa or BC 2BR +Studio?

Any Opinions?

Travelling with 8. 5 adults and 3 children. Have either option and points are close enough.

The way I see it, OKW gives you a better space, whereas BC give better location (and SAB).

Other option is BW standard 2BR/Studio combo for the point savings.

I want to reserve but I can't make up my mind?!?

GV hands down...........that is too many for a 2 BR in my view

This would be 6 in the 2BR and 2 more in a studio.
splitting off one couple. Although, I would love to stay at the BC I am leaning towards the GV.

GV sounds great. I think whats more important is what your group would like to do. If its relax, cook in the room, go to the parks incuding MK and AK a lot you may want OKW. If its nightlife, dining out, SAB, Jellyrolls and emphasis on EPCOT and maybe MGM, try the BCV. Its all good.

GV is my choice..............unless your really point conscious.........comfort means more to us than points

If it's important for your group to be together, then GV. DVC cant guarantee the studio will be anywhere near your 2 bedroom although they will try.

I agree it depends on the focus of the trip and what you want to have easy access to. Both are great places!

We rented a GV and a studio a few years back because our group was so big. The studio was just across the "street" in the cul-de-sac at the end of South Point Road. But we got lucky! I would do the GV.....very nice and it's nice to be together!

You do need to consider whether all 8 people are going to be happy being very close for the trip. We actually booked 3 - 2 bedroom lock-offs last October even though I would have loved to do 2 GV at OKW. We felt that allowing each of the 6 couples to have a space that was totally self-contained was a better option. After-the-fact we realized that we had made the right decision. I would have liked the WOW factor of the OKW GV and one night it would have been nice to have the big GV dining area, but the privacy turned out to be more important in our situation. Isn't it great to have options!

Thanks for all your help. I booked the GV at OKW today. It was available for late August, one week shy of 6 months.

Surprisingly, BC villa dedicated 2BR was also available, as well as 2BR standard view at BW. Good news for the 7 month worry people.

Can't wait to go.
