for next year, we are going 10/1-10/7, is OKW 30% off room rate and you get the FD? So, I could price out on disney OKW and take the 30% offf the standard room and that would be my price for FD?

Yes, it has been said here that FD is being offered next year with 30% discounts on OKW and SSR. I would love to know the actual rates and number of persons/room that can be booked at the discounted rooms.

I had the same experience as you did. I was checking to see if it's worth it to us with the 30%. We really like to stay a little closer to the parks but if the price is right we might try one of these. Also, is it $25/adult/night over 2 per room? Thanks!

I believe that is the deal being offered with the bounceback, meaning the people that are their in WDW right now through October 24. They can book SSR or OKW with 30% discount and free dining for next year. As far as, at this point, that deal is not available for the general public for booking. Just for Free Diners booking the bounceback for next year.

Yes, I don't get it either until we hear from someone that actually is able to book then I'll think about it. I would like to know costs involved and also the extra adult charge for these.

Yes, but if there is a 9 month window for DVC members, how can we book with the discount by Oct 1? It's an odd offer if no rooms are available to receive the discount.

I leave in 15 days for our free DDP trip. I am interested in knowing what is available and what the cost would be for free DDP/30% off at one of these. I wonder if this info will be available by then. I am thinking of trying to get 6 or 8 adults to go and booking it. It's got to be a great deal!

Rack rates for OKW/SSR for 2009 are with tax: $331.88/studio, $438.75/1 bedroom, $613.13/2 bedroom & $1355.63/grand villa. So the room rate with tax the 30% off would be: $232.32/studio, $307.13/1 bedroom, $429.19/2 bedroom & $948.94/grand villa. This is all give or take a couple of cents depending on the rounding.

Yes, thinking the same, but mbanks21 posted that there is no additonal adult charge in these rooms. That might be something else to consider if you have 4 adults in your room, but it's still somewhat higher than the values or moderates.

It seems like a great value to me. In a 2 bedroom they allow 8 adults. So with 8 adults you get 319.92 in free food. Meaning you get the room for roughly 110 a night.

Even if you wanted a 2 bedroom for 4 adults- that's still only 269/night for the room and each couple gets their own room plus all that extra space! That's a steal!
