How far out would you recommend booking OKW for the 2015 F&W? We're planning a split between there and BCV, and I figure we need to book BCV on the first morning at 11 months. However, we're not sure about how long we'll be staying at OKW, so we're hoping for a little more time before booking. 9 or 10 months probably OK? Or should we book as soon as possible there too. Both places are for 1 BRs, if that matters.

Probably ok to wait as long as you book before seven months.

However there's something to be said for booking at eleven months and not having to worry about maybe not getting what you want, particularly if you want to book the "near hospitality house" category.

We love the F&W fest and have been going almost every year since 2003. I will say that it seems bookings are harder to get than they were some years ago at the 7 month window. We stayed at the BW (2006), but now it seems like the rooms can be spotty or not available. We sometimes can get a day or two, but not a full stretch or days.

I also have to say that I have not always been right on the day for the 7 month window, so that could have something to do with it. So, our pattern has been to either just book our home (SSR) at 11 months, which we are fine with.

Columbus Day weekend and the week containing the Monday holiday are getting popular. I'd err on the side of caution if you are planning to be there then, but even then, 10 months should be OK.

Otherwise, you should be fine to wait even longer. As I recall, there were 1 bedrooms available at 7 months window at OKW .

As long as you don't have to borrow, I'd just book my best guess, knowing I could easily cancel if my guess wasn't perfect.
