I had a quick question.

Since I'll be arriving at approximately 7am in the morning on the first day of our first trip home, should I just go straight to OKW, check-in (get room assigned and all that) and then head to the Magic Kingdom (early entry that day + PS for O'Hana breakfast @ 9am)?

Experienced DVC'ers please chime in and help me on this one.

Thanks. :D

If you plan to get into the MK on EE that morning, you will need your resort IDs. Plus you can take the bus over and leave your car at OKW. Then on the chance your room is ready, you can even go ahead and check in or at least move your car over to your unit. You can take the bus to MK, monorail or boat to Polynesian, monorail or boat back to MK, then bus back to OKW.

Since you will be there at 7 am why not???? At least you can get your room keys, passes etc................and dump your luggage there and then go enjoy the day...........

Have a great trip!

I would pre-check in and leave luggage etc. and then go for EE. Don't expect your choice of room to be ready that early, but if it is...GREAT! Otherwise, you can call later and get your room number.

I would check in, leave your luggage with bell services, take the bus to the MK and enjoy your day, and then get your room assignment when you return to the hotel. It's highly unlikely that your room would be ready at 7AM, but hey, you never knoew I guess!

On our November trip DH was in Orlando for a convention and arrived at OKW at 8:00am. Room was ready and it was a great location. You never know!!!

LAst trip, first 2 weeks of August this year, we checked in at 7 and the room was ready. In fact, over the past 10 year's , we usually check in early and about 50% fo the time the room is ready..
