It's the only studio at WDW that has 2 queen beds, the rest are 1 queen and 1 double sofabed. Depending on your group/family, that could be a plus. The disadvantage is there is no park within walking distance.
We stayed in a studio a few years ago. The room was huge. It was actually very nice. My only issue was the resort was laid out weird and we had a hard time finding things. Overall though it was a good stay and we would stay there again.
Very nice rooms but if you dont want to walk or take a bus to lobby and main pool then request Hospitality House (this is a booking request and must be made when booking)...
The beds are super comfy, the main pool is gorgeous and love Olivias and Gurgling Suitcase...
There are 2 queen beds (Which is a very nice thing) and its a good sized studio.
You have the option of taking a boat to DTD (a very nice and pretty short ride).
The pool is great w/ a slide. Make sure you ask for a room close to the main area( lobby/food/pool/giftshop) b/c the resort is HUGE and you will have to drive to this location is you are far away!
Thanks everyone! Its just my wife and I...no kids. Just got married this past June and ended up going to Mexico for our honeymoon. (wasnt as good as disney!) I am chomping at the bit to get back to disney!!! We rent a car so the travel to the parks wont be an issue. I rememeber going to see the resort when I worked in disney in 01 and was also curious about staying there...I found on davids dvc website I can get the room there for 8 nights for a little over a thousand dollars. Doesnt seem to bad!
