OKW Bus Question

December is our first stay at OKW, and I wondered if, when we check in, they will give us a list of bus stops and where the busses go. If I want to let the kids go to DQ, will they know how to get there on a bus? We have stayed at BWV, but it wasn't available when I called. I never paid attention to what they hand out because we just concentrated on the major parks, not DTD. Thanks

Unfortunately, the resorts USED to hand out a Transportation brochure which explained how to get from A to B. They no longer have that (it seemed to stop a couple of years ago).

For OKW, there are multiple internal bus stops. All the busses stop at each bus stop.

The bus routes are (each having a dedicated bus):

MK
Epcot
MGM
AK/BB
DTD/TL

To get to DQ, take the DTD bus and get off at the second stop (PI). The first stop is Marketplace.

You probably won't get a DTD brochure when you check in. OKW may have them available, but you can get a brochure with a map of DTD in any of the DTD stores.

Your kids might enjoy taking the boat between DTD and OKW also. If they opt for the bus, even if they get off at the "wrong" bus stop at OKW, it isn't a long walk (5-10 minutes) from any of the stops to anywhere on the property. You will get a map of OKW at check in (or you can get one online now) and it will show all of the bus stops at the resort.
