OKW Booked for June 2012

Booked our Disney vacation today for 2012 - One bedroom at OKW from June 9 - June 16.

Let the countdown begin!!!

Thanks for reminding me! I just got off the phone to reserve our 30th anniversary trip at OKW for April. DH brought it up about a month ago, and I kept meaning to call, but I never quite got "Round tuit". Now I feel better that we're all set.

I booked our first week of our annual 2 week June trip a few days ago. We will be at BCV from June 2nd - 9th. I have to wait for the 7 month mark to book the second week. I love getting home from our June trip, and booking the next year's trip a few weeks later!

We have "The Big One" coming up....June 16-23, 2012.

Dad and Mom are treating all of us (3 kids and spouses and 7 grandkids!) to a week at WDW. Dad fell in love with OKW in 2001 and hasn't been there since.

We have quite a few celebrations for this trip...

...June 12 is the ONLY grandson's 9th birthday...
...June 23 is my DD's 9th birthday, and my niece's 4th birthday...
...June 25 is DSiL's birthday...
...June 30 is my parents' 40th wedding anniversary

...and to top it off, all of the grandchildren (with the exception of our 2 DD's) will be taking their FIRST trip to WDW.

We didn't want to be there ON anyone's actual birthday because my parents felt that it wouldn't be fair to single out one person. So, we picked a week that we will celebrate everything at once.

Our reservation is going to be a little complex so I decided to wait until July 23 (11 months from check out) so that I could book everything at once. We're doing our first and last nights on cash and the five in the middle on points. Our reservation will have 4 segments...one night cash/one night points with DxDDP/4 nights points, no DDP/one night cash. Dad wants to do the Illuminations Grand Gathering event and it is a better deal to use DxDDP credits to do it, hence the one night DxDDP. ($73.99/$35.99 for *just* the GG experience vs. $85.52/$23.79 for the DxDDP)

Me (37) and DH (43)...Kamryn,8, and Kaedyn, 6
DB (35) and DSiL (35)...Kenadie,10, Jaxson,9, and Eastyn,7
DS (33) and DBiL (34)...Olivia,3 and "Baby Girl", 7 months (*due to arrive on November 5, 2011)

It will be a vacation to remember...one way or another.

We are going June 13 - 19th! I honestly think I'm looking forward to next summers trip more then this December!!! So far we are booked at Jambo for the first 4 nights...we'll see where we wind up for the last 2 nights!
