Is it easy to between the resorts?

Just wondering so we could use the resturants there.

I have stayed at both and its about a 10 minute boat ride. It is very nice, scenic and relaxing although some might complain that it goes to slow. My elderly parents loved it! If you are staying at OKW, after the boat stops at SSR it then proceeds to DD which is an added benefit too!:goodvibes

"Easy" depends on your definitions!

There's a lovely walking path along the canal that starts right near the SSR boat dock and takes you over to South Point at OKW...total distance is, as I recall, just about a mile (depending on where in SSR you start from and where in OKW you wind up)...I love this path and walk between SSR and OKW frequently...it's a 15 to 20 minute stroll for me...

There is also boat service between SSR and DTD, and between DTD and OKW...last time I used it, the route included stops at both SSR and OKW, but I believe they've changed the routes so you may have to change boats at DTD now...not sure about that...but the boat rides are relaxing and fun all by themselves (altho not particularly "quick")...

And there are the buses...you can use the internal bus routes at both OKW and SSR to get you to the start/end of the walking path; or you can take a "regular" bus to Downtown Disney and then transfer to "the other" resort...

So, I think it's easy...but my definition of easy may be broader than some others!

Good luck w/your planning...

Thanks for the info, anyone know what time the boats start at?

Boats start running at 10am (they did last week anyway), we got there right at 10 and were at DTD in 10-15 min. We didn't stop at SSR though, you may have to get off at DTD and hop on the SSR boat if that's the case. Or walk from DTD to SSR, I think that would work too.

We went over to SSR (by car) and really loved seeing the resort! It's beautiful and the pool was fantastic! Have a great trip and please post pics and details either live or when you get back :goodvibes

We rent a bike and ride over to the OKW using the path that connects the two resorts.
