Is it me, or is does the fridge seem like it's not cold enough (even on the recommendation setting)

Well, first I would try making it colder than the recommended setting.

But if that didn't work, I would call for maintenance. Fridges break and die. You don't need to go without one during your trip.

It seems that empty refrigerators do not feel cold, but put stuff in them and it will feel cold.
