I am getting conflicting info for OKW 1 bdrm villa. DW.com gives it as an option for our family of 5 (2 adults, 3kids) and says there's a double pull out and pull out chair in the living room and a king bed in the bedroom. But allears and my ultimate guide say the rooms max occupancy is 4. Which one is right?

also, do I have any chance at all of getting a decently located (ie close to hospitality center, main bus stop and main pool) villa when arriving Feb 16 - thurs before Presidents Day long weekend? Location is a big concern for us, as we won't have our own car, and the resort looks difficult to navigate on foot with 3 little ones.

thanks for any advice!

Also, does anyone know how the bus service works with EMH mornings? the website says bus service begins 1 hr prior to park opening, but most of the parks are gonna take us almost an hour to get to in the first place. Do the buses take into account EMH? So if EMH begins at MK at 8, but regular park opening is 9, will the busses start running from OKW by 7 to allow us to be at the gates before EMH opening at 8?

The one bedroom villas have a king bed, a queen sofa bed and a sleeper chair.

If you are booking with cash no chance to be closest to Hospitality House as that is a booking category for DVC members. You could ask to be as close as possible.

Technically, if you book OKW one bedroom through Disney Reservation Center, you will only be allowed four plus one under the age of three. DVC does allow five persons (any age) if booked through Member Services.

Buses at OKW are great. Once you leave the main drive, it will only take about 15 minutes to get to MK, less to Epcot, a little more to DHS and still a little more to AK. They start running based on the daily operations of the parks. So if the park is opening earlier than normal, they take that into consideration.

We rented points, but not in the Hospitality House category as we didn't know there was such when we booked. We stayed the last weekend of Food and Wine (resorts were packed) and the CM checking us in gave us 3 options of what was available, with building 62 being one of the options. It was a great location and extremely close to the Hospitality House! So there is hope!

As of 2012, this is no longer true. Families of 5 can stay in a 1 bedroom villa now when booking through the Walt Disney Travel
company. :)

I HATE Disney buses. However, we were at OKW in September and because of the new monorail hours, etc., we used the buses for most of our stay at OKW (we were in Building 40 or 42...sorry, old age is catching up to me) and we never waited more than a minute or two for a bus going to the park, and no more than 10 minutes going back to the resort. The buses at OKW were fabulous.

If you are plugging your family into the DW.com system correctly - 2 adults, 3 children, plus their correct ages and OKW 1-bedroom is coming up, then, yes, you can stay there! The system is designed to only offer you rooms that will accommodate the number of guests you put in.
