Okay . . . who's right?!?

UG says Saturdays in October are good for MK. TGM says Saturdays are bad. I've always avoided MK on Saturday during our last trips, but because of UG's advice, I have planned on going to MK on our first full day, which is a Saturday.

Who's right?

I never read any of the guides, but I've always had pretty good luck going to MK on Saturdays. I don't really believe there is such a thing as an off season anymore as far as crowds go. It's all hit and miss. But that's just my opinion.

In October a Saturday in MK is a good bet, because most everyone is at EPCOT, unless..you are going during the golf classic, then MK may be a bit busy also, but then, during the golf classic, everything is totally crowded and packed.

Saturdays are not bad. Usually around 6-7pm it starts to fill for Spectromagic & fireworks. I always found mondays to be very quiet there! Also found the crowds to much lighter in October! Enjoy your trip!

While we were there in May, we went to MK on Saturday, even though TGM says Saturdays are bad. Since we flew into Orlando at 8:30 a.m., we didn't get into the MK til 10:30, even though UG says to get there at opening. We went figuring we would just get a few things done, but since we counted it as a bonus day of our 7 day stay, so what. We were pleasantly surprised that it wasn't all that busy at all, the longest wait without fastpass was 15 minutes, most were 5-10 minutes and for the big rides we used fastpass, and most of the time our return time was only an hour away from the time when we obtained the fastpass. UG lists Saturdays as the second best day to go, only behind Tuesdays as being the best. Anyway, have a great time.
