If we keep going in December, Santa will think that we have moved to WDW. :rotfl2:

That is what I keep hoping. Take up permanent residence at WDW. We will be at BWV 12/1 thru 12/10. Our first trip with just the two of us. I am really going to miss DD she will be off to college and not able to go this year. We will be celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary, though, so it should be another awesome trip. Christmas is so beautiful and we never miss MVMCP, or the Candle lighters Processional. Have fun planning, everyone.

I'm going Nov. 30-Dec. 10, We go every year and the crowds arent bad at the beginning of the month. Definately do the party and go to EPCOT for the character experience. Watch for the double decker bus,Its best in Japan, all the characters are dressed in red and green and goofy is santa, its the best, and you dont need to be a kid to love that.Usually Minnie, Goofy, Stitch, Peter Pan, Pluto, Timon, Sooooo worth the wait in the line

This post looks to close for comfort.... :wizard:

We (DH, DS 4.5, DD 2.5) are going December 19 - 22 staying at the Contemporary. I have been to WDW many times (lived in Florida 1971 - 1973 when park first opened but too young to remember) but only stayed on site twice - once at WL in 1980 and at the Contemporary in 1984. We are all very excited and I made the mistake of telling DS and now he does nothing but ask when Christmas is and to watch the DVD from our vacation planning guide.

Any thoughts on MVMCP so late in the season? I am concerned it will be so very busy, especially with such young kids. My parents and sister are going too, just not staying onsite, so there will be lots of hands to help. Our only date to go would be 12/21. It looks wonderful but I am concerned it may not be the best use of our time or money. Wonder if all day at MK on 12/20 and then split 12/21 between MGM & Epcot instead of MVMCP is a better plan.

Either way, it will be a very merry Mickey Christmas for our family!!

My husband and I are going December 16th to 23rd. I am not entirely sure yet about Mickey's Xmas Party. It costs extra and I am not entirely sure what you get for this other than snow. I live in Canada and see enough snow I don;t need to pay to see it in Disney.

I definitely know what you mean about wanting summer and fall to go by fast. I love summer but it means that Disney is sooooooooooooooooooooo far away. One of my best friends is going in a couple of weeks. I am sooooo jealous. :wizard: pirate:

I'm looking at the MVMCP brochure right now. There is MVMCP parade, cookies and cocoa, get your picture taken, of course Santa, fireworks, Night Before Xmas show, "celebrate the season show" in front of the castle, Holiday Hop(dancing).

Now this all may be going on after the last MVMCP , but there is a lot less ppl at MVMCP. And you don't have to use a day ticket to get in, if you only want to attend the MVMCP.

( did I mention cookies and cocoa??)

Have a great time whatever you do!!
