Okay, who took all the lime green Mickey's from Home Depot?

Come on, fess up. I went to Home Depot this morning to get a few of the alien green Mickey swatches and they were all gone! How do I know a DISer took them? Every other color category was full of swatches except the alien green. Very suspicious if you ask me . I was forced to get the sonic boom green Mickey swatches. They are not as bright as the alien green ones but I guess they will do.

I just had no idea there were so many Cleveland DISers out there! Can't wait to cruise in November and I'll be proudly wearing my lime green Mickey head with my screen name. Hope to see you there!

It wasn't me, but the same thing happened to me this week at the Niles, IL store. All the colors of green were gone.

In IL the one in Schamburg at barington rd and shaumburg must have had a big run on them... THEY HAD A HOLE CASE OF THEM SITTING OPEN IN FRONT OF THE DISPLAY!!!

Had some in the Matteson, IL store last time I was there! Empire Day, I couldn't have resisted asking an employee why there was a whole case of that really cool color sitting there! Would love to hear that answer!

We have a brand new Home Depot, only a couple months old, in central Ohio and we are stock full of Alien Greens. I slipped in the other day and got one for my cruise coming up.

They're all out in southern New Jersey, at least at the Egg Harbor Township Home Depot. " I took em" I confess!!!!!!!!!!

THe Home Depot in Aurora IL was out of Alien Green this afternoon, too. So I just helped myself to Sonic Boom - looks lime green to me!

lime green is kind of the unofficial color of the DIS. When DIS'ers go to the parks or on the cruise they were lime green ribbons (or tie them on purses etc.) to identify themselves to other DIS'ers.

When these were first spotted at Home Depot it was suggested to use these.

I used some on our DISmeet sign for our May 10th cruise.

We also put ones in the lanyards we got from the DVC Member Cruise with our DIS names (and real names) in the Mickey Head.

Since I scrapbook I also took a few extra in other colors to decorate the pages. They are quite fun.

My DH went to 6 different home depot stores to try and find them for me!!! He said we are all nuts! Of course that was the only color they were out of.

Something fishy is going on around here (or at least at Home Depot). I am sure they are wondering why the can't keep the slot filled with the alien green swatches. It must be driving them crazy! I do agree with a previous poster who said the sonic boom green looks lime green so if they are all out of the alien color, sonic boom seems to be the next best choice. I only took a fewand I left plenty for the next DISer!

WDWLVR which Niles Home Depot did you go to? I went to the new one on Dempster and picked up a hand full last week.

cruzindon, that was my 2nd stop and I did get some there.

The one I went to first was the one on Waukegan and they were out of all green colors.

I confess. If you're talking about the Home Depot on Orchard Rd, I "borrowed" what was left for our upcoming trip. I couldnt remember what color I needed. Sonic Boom 4B-40 or Alien Green 4B-30...so I took them both. I have 8 extra of both colors if anyone needs any, email me and Id be happy to mail them to you,
