Pin Wizard--
We are in the same boat, I think, and there's no good men in it!!! I love DS with all my heart, but I do take time away. Most of my friends are married. If they're not married, they are several years younger than me and when we go out, THEY end up with the phone numbers!!! I'm not hideous or anything. So, I'm not completely sure what the problem is. Maybe my standards are too high???!!!! Oh well, lowered 'em once and lived in H E L @ for seven years. Don't think I want to get on that horse again!!!!
I had a responsible hardworking man for 20 years, then he cheated on me and left. It's going to be a long time before I can totally trust anyone.
Legs...at a baseball game, huh? What's Virginia's baseball team? LOL! I've loved the Redskins for YEARS! Losing seasons and all.Originally posted by annemariec
Sandy,
Yes!!! Decent guys do play volleyball!I met my husband playing. We were both having so much fun, it all just fell into place. Neither of us were "looking". It can happen!
Tidewater is just another name for Hampton Roads, Virginia Beach, and Newport News. (I think it includes them all....)
Take care,
Annemarie
One more time- "What is ICQ??!!!"
A saiilor? I've been warned about sailors by a Navy wife! Two other friends warned me about marines. One is still married to hers, the other one divorced hers years ago. Maybe the Army Transportation Museum.Originally posted by Cruise04
There is a farm team in Norfolk - I've heard they are pretty good. And given where you are living now....finding a nice sailor shouldn't be too hard!!!
And both sides of the water means one side of the Peninsula and the other side of the Peninsula. You are on a Peninsula believe it or not. And believe it or not - when there is a storm going through (more when the Noreasters go through) one side can be great and the other side can be nasty. That's how it was always explained to me by my family that lived in Norfolk.
