Okay! What's Your Fav Attraction?

Isn't anyone else's favorite the Haunted Mansion? My others is the MK (I agree-can't pick just one) have already been mentioned-Splash Mountain and POTC. In Epcot-Soaceship Earth, Illuminations, and just walking around WS. In AK, Kilamanjaro Safari Ride, Discovery Island Trails, and Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail. In MGM-only go there to see Osborne Lights.

First of all, LionKing used to be my favorite - I think Nemo may have edged past though!

The last time I was at Disney was when I was 8 months pregnant so I couldn't ride any of the "newer" rides.....like Alien Encounter(someone please tell me why they got rid of this), ToT, Test Track, etc....Also have never been to Animal Kingdom or been to Epcot since mission space!

Guess I have a lot to look forward to this time!

SOOOOO - pulling from memory of being young at the parks:

Haunted Mansion was always my favorite - I loved seeing the ghost sitting next to me! I loved space mountain, pirates of the carribean, Peter Pan!

Can't wait to try everything I've missed! I'm going to ride until I feel like this

:upsidedow :crazy2: :earsgirl:

not really one single attraction, but, my favorite area in WDW used to be the Ft. Wilderness area. when dd was little, we'd go over there and spend an entire day easily: the petting zoo, river country water park, discovery island, trail's end buffeteria(still the best fried chicken and best dining bargain on property), chip n' dales character campfire and movie, and top off the evening by walking down to the beach to watch the electric water parade...oh, I almost forgot, you could check out the stables were disney houses the horses that are used at the parks too...it was truly a family favorite....sadly, some of these things are no longer accessible:(
As far as right now goes: I'd have to say my favorite rides are: RnR and ToT and there is still nothing like walking down main street and staring up at that magnificent castle!!!

Here's my favorites -

Festival of the Lion King (AK)
Voyage of the Little Mermaid (MGM)
Tom Sawyer Island (MK)
Tapestry of Nations & Tapestry of Dreams
Walking thorugh the World Showcase
Character Meals

Childhood favorites: Peter Pans Flight, Towm Sawyer Island, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Haunted Mansion, Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse, Jungle Cruise, Hoop De Doo, COuntry Bears...(I was also pretty amazed by Carousel of Progress and Hall of Presidents)

*Sigh* I love this place....

MK--IaSW
Epcot--Cross between Living Seas and walking around World Showcase
MGM--Voyage of the Little Mermaid (gee, how could you guess from my avatar and signature image? :hyper: )
AK--I've only been there once, but I really liked the Tarzan show, I believe.

:sunny: Oh .. I have to agree w/the walking down Main Street and the magical feeling :sunny:

Rides, well I just love the Thunder Mt Railroad and the Matterhorn at Disneyland :sunny: They are just enough of a thrill for me w/out me losing my stomach or felling too out of control.

pirate:

My favs are pirates of the carribean, haunted mansion
big thunder mountain.

both my husband I agree..we only went to FW once this time( for breakfast) and didn't stay there and we really missed it. we are seriously considering the cabins for Nov. love the laid back atmosphere and contrast to the parks.

This is a tough one. There's so much that I like, it's tough to pick just one! When someone asks me what I like to do at WDW, here are the first things I think of:

Favorite Ride: ToT

Favorite place to eat: Beaches & Cream - not the most elegant place to eat, but I always have a big smile when I'm there. Great theming and great sundaes. What else do you need?

Favorite non-theme park thing to do: I love renting a boat at a resort marina or at Downtown Disney and driving it around.

My favs:
MK:
-walking down main street first thing & seeing the castle (goosebumps!)
-Mickey's Philharmagic (my newest favorite)
-Pirates of the Caribbean (the hairy leg is the best)
-Haunted Mansion (the hitchhikers)
-Splash Mountain
-Dole Whips!

AK:
-it's tough to be a bug
-Festival of the Lion King

EPCOT:
-Illuminations

MGM:
-Tower of Terror (our car broke down and we were evacuated this last trip! awesome!)
-Great Movie Ride (munchkin room)

:D

I don't know if I have one favorite ride/attraction above all others, but here are my favorites at each park:

MK- Splash Mountain (Great story line, nice and long)
MGM- Star Tours (It needs to be updated in some way, but it's still a favorite because I'm a huge Star Wars fan. If it is updated, I hope it still includes something from Episodes IV, V, or VI. I like the prequels, but they're not as good as the originals.
AK- Kilimanjaro Safari (something different to see every time)
EPCOT- I like Test Track and I love all of World Showcase, but I have a feeling that I'm going to love Mission: Space when I get to go on it for the first time the next time I get to go back...whenever that may happen. Soon, I hope.

Sitting in the leather chairs in the Bell Vue Room at The Boardwalk Inn with a glass of Dalwhinnie listening to old time radio.

Dorothy(Simba's Mom) I agree my fave in

MK is The haunted Mansion with PoC a close second

Epcot (FW)- SSE followed by That light up sidewalk

MGM- Rockin Rollercoaster!!

AK- Still haven't done everything here yet but I would say ITTBAB.

Lisa

Kilamanjaro Safaris! There's nothing like turning a corner and running into a rhino! JAMBO, everybody!

I have to agree that walking down Main Street early in the morning, knowing that you have a great day ahead is special.

The ride I would miss the most if I couldn't do it would have to be Splash Mountain.

Almost impossible to pick just one!

Just had to respond...My favorite movie is the Lion Kings also, I just love Simba!

Let me start off by saying that you (I'm so sorry, I forgot your name:o ) are without a doubt very, very cool! Wow, I can't believe so many people posted on this! Oh, BTW, just to clear up any confusion, I'm actually JAKNAG under a new name. JAKNAG is really my dad's name on this and I got permission to use his name until I got my own account and I did! I feel so cool right now! :teeth: But wow, it seems like a lot of people like the same classics. But I'm surprised that no one seems to like the World Showcase. C'mon, isn't there anybody out there who enjoys walking through all the countries in the late morning? I love it! Especially Japan (and no, it's not just because I'm also a Yu-Gi-Oh nut!) I just love seeing all the new cultures and places to explore. And yes, I know that I said that the Festival of the Lion King is my favorite and believe me, it is...but the World Showcase comes in a close second! But enough ranting about that. I just wanted to ask this one little question and now that I've asked it there's nothing more to say so...

Ja Ne for now!
