Okay, spill it!!

I have Big Bird's Feather in a frame on my wall. My mom used to work at our local PBS station and the manager gave it to me when I went to visit one day.

:goodvibestotally awesome. I love Big Bird.

That's not cheesy, that's awesome. I'd put Big Bird's feather on my wall. It's Big Bird!

Strawberry Shortcake Let's Dance Album is in my parents attic.

I do not know what to say. The first five words of that sentence do not make sense to me in the order and context in which they appear.

I just found my husband's sticker album from the early 80's. Oohhhhh baby, there are Qbert, Star Wars, A Team, Shirt Tales, ET, Snorks stickers and SO MUCH MORE.

Lance Bass *NSYNC Doll

Emma Bunton "Baby Spice" Doll

Mel C. "Sporty Spice" Doll

Britney Spears 'Baby One More Time' Doll

Mary-Kate Olsen Doll ( I don't know what happened to Ashley) This was part of their So Little Time series.

I have a whole footlocker full of Buffy the Vampire Slayer stuff....All of the seasons on DVD, dolls, the Sunnydale High School year book, Sunnydale High School t-shirt and all that nerdy stuff.

As an antique dealer, I'm frequently in the position to run across really cheesy items and I have to admit that sometimes (ok, lots of times) they follow me home. Charlie McCarthy is currently staring at me from his perch on my mantle.

Unfortunately it doesn't stop there, I have also actively searched out items that are cheesy. I have Toontown props in the corner.

Then there are those items that just follow you from childhood. I still have my Muppet lunchbox.

I also collect Sinatra items and Snow White items (but only really early ones...)

New Kids on the Block trading cards. I can't seem to bring myself to get rid of them.

.

I have an entire box of nkotb stuff. The photography book they released, the trading cards, dolls, buttons, magazines, a ton of stuff from the original cruise they did on the big red boat

You name it I probably have it in my parents basement.

DH and I were talking about this last night. He admitted to having a whole box of Garbage Pail Kids trading cards (remember those?! :crazy2:) as well as some other trading cards that were popular foods but with wierd labels - like "Plasters Peanuts" instead of Planters, etc.

He went digging around and also found some pretty old baseball cards, too :scratchin

All of my Duran Duran albums from the first one up to when they did their separate projects are on vinyl as well. I even have a couple of 12" records of Duran Duran, Madonna and Michale Jackson.

I guess out of those vinyl records, I have to say the most cheesiest is The Z-100 Morning Zoo (NYC radio station) from about 1984 or 1985. It had a lot of comedy skits that were on their morning show, song spoofs and celebrities that had visited the station. Ahhh, the good ol days!

I have them, too...FRAMED  Along with a ton of 45s...and the best gift DH gave me was the 12" single of Arcadia's "Election Day" that he found for $1 at a flea market.

After I moved out of state and had to cancel my DURAN.2 license plates, I kept one and hung it on the wall, above DH's framed Black Sabbath album.

I have a bunch of vinyl records, but I guess the cheesiest are my Muppet albums from the 70s. And all of my grandfather's Mitch Miller albums. Sentimentality will not let me get rid of any of those.

And a large box full of 16 and Teen Beat magazines circa 1989-1992. All of them.

Probably more boyband memorabilia, too. ;)

I threw out all of my old 16 magazines a long time ago. The only thing I have left from them is anything Duran Duran (and their side projects) from 1984 to about 1988. And those take up about 3 old photo album scrap books that I still have (with other non 16 magazine articles and such).

Most,m if not all, of mine have scratches in it so they skip. My 12" of Planet Earth/Late Bar was left in the sun (by me who didn't know any better at 13/14) and became warped :headache:

I do have one 12" promotional record of Andy Taylor that was given to me on my birthday from a friend. From what she told me her boyfriend at the time worked at a radio station (not as a DJ) and Andy came by and dropped it off

Oh, and I still have Duran's Arena board game. I tried to play it once but I was a bit confused on how and never tried to play it again after that.

I think I had this. Did it have Disco Duck on it... I think that was it. I may have to go look for it.

My brother and I had that album. Disco Duck was my favorite!

as well as some other trading cards that were popular foods but with wierd labels - like "Plasters Peanuts" instead of Planters, etc.

Wacky Packs! I love those! They're still around. DS9 has a few packs. I have a cousin who used to plaster them on his metal bi-folding closet doors back in the 80's. I used to love lookig at them and chuckle when we visited.

DH's are from 1979. :scared1: :faint:

They sell Garbage Pail Kids (the cards) at Target again! We picked up 2 packs recently to show our kids :)

I have my NKOTB trading cards, still. And a few buttons.

I would LOVE the Big Bird feather!

I have an autographed picture of Ryan Merriman from when he was popular during the Zoog Disney era. I don't know why I can't get rid of it. Everyone laughs at me when they see it and ask who it is and why I have it, but I loved him! I used to have a pillowcase with his face on it too. I threw it away two months ago.

My cheesiest possession is the Star Wars Christmas Album with my number one favorite song... "What do you get a Wookie for Christmas when he already owns a comb?"

I'm a BIG Bee Gees fan and think I have everything they've ever written or sung.

People in my job can be heard saying "is she REALLY playing that again???"

Listening to "Fanny Be Tender With My Love" as we speak...

Barry Manilow Box Set. That is in addition to several Manilow vinyls which I've owned since elementary school. The box set is a much more recent acquisition. I don't know which is more pathetic. :rotfl2:

A New Kids on The Block silk screened banner that took up one whole wall of my bedroom. Along with a bunch of other New Kids memorabilia that I can't depart with.
