My friend likes this boy, and she think he likes her back. My friend tells me everything about it. He found this note in his locker, and asked me and my friend if I know who wrote it. I said no, and she also denied. The boys name is Jackson and he is incredibly cute. But i dont want to hurt my friends feelings by telling her I like him too. My friend is Rachel. Jackson also thinks im his best girl friend. Like, just regular friend friend. He tells me everything. And, he doesnt like her. But she always says he is flirting with her and calling her nice names. So she demanded me to ask him out. He said no. But i dont want to tell her that. ( Remember I have only met these people around 3 and a half months ago ) So I dont know their entire story. So Rachel puts a note in his locker asking him out. Again. He found it, and asked me if i did it. Again. And then he wrote on the back. ( Because he found out Rachel wrote it )

I'm sorry but I don't like you. I like someone who is much hotter than you.

He showed me the note, and told me to give it to her. But I would NEVEr want to hurt her feelings like that!

Then the next day, he came over to me. And said,

The reason I won't go out with Rachel is because....I like you.


I was shocked! Then he asked me out. I didnt give him an answer.

Like I said, I would never want to hurt her feelings! She still, litterally LOVES him. Should I turn him down? Or say yes?

it all depends on if youre willing to hurt your friend like that for a guy. also remember that if you told him you didnt want to date him because of your friend, if he really likes you, hed understand. i wouldnt give her the note, but tell her the truth, instead (leave out that he said that youre much hotter than her). she deserves to know. after you tell her, if she seems okay with you dating him, then go ahead and say yes (but only if youre REALLY sure!)

I'd ask her. See how she feels about you going out with him. Like would she stop being friends with you, or would she just feel hurt (if she feels hurt, the chances are she'll probably get over it once she realizes he REALLY doesn't like her).

I mean, if he's your best guy friend, you like him, he likes you and he's a great guy.. why pass him up?

So, I seriously say forget the boy. It's not like he's the cutest guy on the planet, because I am, and you'll likely never meet me. Pride aside, he's really not. I used to think that this girl was the be-all and end-all of pretty. Then I changed schools, and lo and behold, I've found another be-all and end-all of pretty. So there'll be another Jackson. But there might not be another Rachel. Apparently, friendship lasts forever and this whole love stuff doesn't. What I've been told.
