Before I read anyone else's replies, I just want to say that I don't think you're wallowing in self pity at all. You've been through a terrible ordeal and lost a child. If THAT doesn't warrant some feeling sorry for yourself, then I don't know what does. I can understand why you'd feel uncomfortable around other women who were due around the same time as you were, especially since it's getting closer to that date. *HUGS* to you.. Hang in there... Other than time, I don't know what else would make you feel better.

Please do not feel sorry for feeling sad. Not only is that normal, but its necessary. Thats what we are all here for. Continued prayer & pixie dust to you. Take care and dont be afraid to come here to vent. Sometimes just "talking" about it can help you to feel better.

Kristy, I wouldn' t say you have had "wallowing in self-pity posts," you have real feelings and emotions here from a very personal experience and if it gives you just a little comfort to post about it then I say post away. I lost a baby once, I was not as far along as you, but it was still very real and very emotional. You are right it takes time and you will never forget, but the pain eases a little at a time. I mourned until after my due date and then I went to talk to someone about my emotions and then I started to heal a little at a time. My little angel would have been 9 next month and I still think about her, but not as much as I used to. I am sorry for your pain and your loss, {{{{HUGS}}}}

You know you can come here anytime,,,,you are not alone,,,I know how you are feeling,, having lost my baby girl after 8 months of waiting for her (she was still born),,that was over 25 years ago and I still think of her often,,,it doesnt seem like it will ever get better at first, (an maybe even sounds a little harsh to say it will) but in time the pain is not right under the skin and does get better, and she will always be in your heart and thoughts. Just know she is with God. Somethings we are just not meant to understand!!! I am just a PM or E-mail away if you ever need to talk...that's what's so great about this place,,we may not KNOW each other in person, but we all have somethings in common, there is always someone we can talk to ..God Bless you !!
