........and um, actually I am not proud of myself.

Our trip is in a mere 6 days, and I am trying to be happy---but worried about going to Disney as a Pooh Sized person, again.
I've let myself get so depressed about this.

I never really gain when we are on a WDW vacation even though we always get the silver plan.I guess its a combination of being so hot that I don't eat as much as normal, and all the walking that you do that helps what you do eat get exercised off.So at least I can confidently say I will come home the same as I leave.

I know I WILL NOT want to get in a bathing suit for the pools or the water parks.I may give in just to be a part of the family, but will be so self conscious.

I wish I could give in and just let go----I see many other pooh sized folks having the time of their lives not giving a rip who sees them or what anyone thinks.
Where can I find a magic potion to develop some of that self esteem? :drinking1

Well, I always find a lot of magic right where you're going - WDW!
Really as a plus sized person WDW is one of the few places I've felt comfortable in water parks & such, mostly because there are a lot of people there just like me. I love to swim, & I'm not about to let my size bother me & I hope you don't either. Go & have a great time & think of all those calories you're burning! :teeth:

THANKYOU FOR THE SUPPORT ::yes::

I actually woke up feeling a bit better today, and seem to have a better outlook.
I am going to be really strict with my diet this week, and then enjoy the heck out of my vacation!!!

I wish there was a magic potion because I would have a healthy supply of it! I don't think it is about being Pooh-sized, I think it is about being comfortable with who you are. I was self conscience when I was Pooh-sized and I am still self-conscience after losing 60 pounds and wearing size 12 clothes. I haven't found that comfort zone yet, but I have learned that you don't want life to slip by because of your body. Going to WDW is expensive and you need to enjoy it while you are there because you are paying for it, you may as well enjoy. You said it yourself there are a ton of Pooh-sized folks out there, so go and have a good time, don't let life pass you by.

I hope you have a wonderful time...hop in that pool and burn some calories having fun,fun, fun!!!:fish:
