Okay so I have a little pin meet...

and I get hooked in to a new series... Thank you Carol and Lisa... Anyway I go on to ebay to see what I can expect to pay/trade for the new set of pins I'm going after... WOW!!! I'm gonna go broke. I have been doing the artist choice from WDW and was not going to do the other parks or the cruise line... Well that ended the other day. I ended up trading for about half the DLR ones from last year and a cruise one.

So like I was saying I go to ebay to see these pins and WOW... They are all over 100 bucks each. Then I see that most of the 25 or so of each one are from one person... I would love to know how one person gets so many pins (Hmmm you reading this part Disney). I mean he had 10 to 15 of the latest and most limited pins out there... I know about sharks but this was the worst case I have ever seen of it. SO I decided to only go after the DLR ones and if I get a cruise one every so often then great. Sorry about the little rant

As for the other set I was hooked on... The Epcot stamp set... WOW again. I have seen these on line at www.dizpins.com and www.dizneypins.com while I didn't like the looks of them from the pictures in person they are very very nice... Well I guess I do have a little wall space for these... Nothing llike a little meet to get your fix...

when we were on the pin cruise we saw a man who was getting people to put their name in for the pin even if they were not collectors. He was bragging to everyone that he already had 35 of the AC pins and was going for more. He made me a very unreasonable offer of the Mickey stamp from Epcot for the AC pin I had. I said "I don't think so" to him and he mocked me as I walked away.
I know you would know him if I described him, but I won't do that here. He is a well known trader. I bet he is the one who is selling all the pins on e-bay.
He also was bragging about having quite a few of the ship in bottle pins. I wonder if Disney can really do anything about these type of people? I doubt it since they are out to make a profit and he didn't buy them all himself, but had others buy them and then gave them either money or traded. Peggie
