Hi guys,

I've been looking at the Orlando area restaurants (not so interested in eating at Disney except when necessary... I'd rather not spend my entire vacation there) and it looks like there are a lot of buffet options. In the coupon book I just got with my tickets, there are numerous buffet restaurants that offer lobster and I am very excited. I love lobster!

So can any of you recommend a good buffet place that serves lobster? I am not sure how to choose! All of them are very reasonably priced if you arrive before 6pm. In your opinion, which are the best? (hopefully less than $30 per person)

Disney has by far the best resturants in the Orlando area IMHO . But if you are going to go off property anything in the enterainment book is usually good.

the Boston Lobster Feast on the 192...by the big intersection to Celebration...maybe Marker 10??

The decor wasn't the greatest, but the food was hot and plentiful, lobsters were good, and our waiter was fun:)

I think it was $24/person, before 6pm:)

Have fun!!

I don`t think this place has lobster but their food is EXCELLENT! Golden Corral! It is reasonably priced and they have LOTS of different foods. Including meats that are carved right in front of you. Oh, and the desserts are yummy!

There`s one on 192.

outside WDW. I do admit I get very upset with myopic views that are only based on how great Disney is.

Lots of great retaurants offsite. Much better priced too....

I got a coupon book in the mail this week also! We will be in orlando from April 18th-26th, and I am sure that we will eat at some of these restaurants so I will post a report as soon as I get back. We are only going to DW 3 days because we are also going to universal studios, Sea World and Wet and Wild. I am not staying onsite because I found a great place offsite! :sunny:

I loved Golden Corral we have one in Chattanooga which is excellent.

I agree WDW made have good food places but eating offisite offer more choices.

LOL, you are at the right place to ask away about non-Disney, Orlando questions! You will find lots of views about the all you can eat lobster places. My kids LOVE Boston Lobster Feast. People that live where Lobster is plentiful complain about it. Its not bad for $25.

Sweet Tomatoes is another buffet that people really enjoy. Its a soup and salad resturant that runs about $8 a person but they have coupons in the local papers.

Golden Coral is an all-you-can eat place that has a really large selection of lots of different. For the price, its one of the best in the area.

Ci-Cis Pizza is an all-you-can eat pizza place that runs about $4.00 a person. You either love it or hate it. The pizza isn't great, but you do get a salad bar. If you have hungry kids to feed for not much money, this is your place!

There are lots of places like Ponderosa and Sizzler that offer buffets that offer lots of food for not much money.

When you get to Orlando, pick-up some of the travel magazines you see on every street corner. Most offer coupons to local resturants. Also if you have time, you might want to order the entertainment book for Orlando. They have lots of great coupons and I think they are running about $10. these days.

Agree with this post. We live in Central Fl. Often we stay on property, anyway. When we do, we always eat at Cici's, Golden Coral, Red Lobster, and Biergarten at Epcot. When we go shopping at Belz Factory outlet, we always eat at Sweet Tomatoes.

Last Sunday we ate supper at TGIFridays at Crossroads. It was empty, so service was fast and the food was decent.

We also like Fishbones on I-drive. The stuffed shrimp is awesome! The alligator tail appetizer was good too. That was our 1st experience tasting it. A friend of our got the duck and he said that was good too.
