Okay, need product reviews

I hate to have to ask this...
Has anybody bought Spanx? I see them on QVC, but they have mixed reviews. Some love, some hate.
Anyone have any? I've lost ~some~ weight, but....
(Or should I say butt???)

There is a spanx similar product at Target - Assets.
Much cheaper and maybe worth a shot.

I agree, go with assets, they are made by the same maker and way cheaper! I like them, I don't wear them everday but I do for dressing up.

I have two pairs of spanxs that i have worn for dressing up (and after I had DD). I really liked them however, i wouldn't wear anything constricting for too long, it does get uncomfortable.

I have used it for dressing up as well. JUST dressing up. There is no way I am going to have a wrestling match with my undergarments on a daily basis!!! I used Spanx, not assets. I would definitely try the less expensive Target option tho!

I love my spanx....I wear them with most dress pants to create better lines than I have



They are $$$ but I feel that it is worth it. I have one pair from Target but don't like them as much.

I have Spanx, but only wear them for church or a dressy dinner...they get to be really hot after awhile. I do like them better than other cinching undergarments because they don't make you buldge where the waist ends (I use the ones that go all the way up to my bra) or at the legs (and they don't ride up). If there is a cheaper brand by the same makers try those.

I guess I didn't think about them being hot.
Was thinking about them for our June trip.
I hate seeing the photos from our honeymoon compared to now.
Of course, two babies in less than two years does change your body some.
Unfortunately, the youngest is six now!
Pilates can only do so much!

DOn't have em, but sister thinks they are great, that being said, she does not even NEED them, HELLO, she is tiny!
A friend used them, said they were HOT, too restricting and she said they "Ran" which seems to be common and which would annoy me as to the cost of them.

Personally I'd try a knock off and save the $$ Good Luck!

I am one of those skinny people that has a post pregnancy tummy - 3 girls in 4 yrs - I have the Assests one from Target that goes from bra to thighs - I had a wedding to go to and nothing fit correctly until I put that on. I loved it. it didn't bother me but it was a colder time of year.

I also have a pair of the ones that go up to your bra. I wear them once in awhile and they do improve the look of whatever outfit and I don't find them too hot or uncomfy. I bought mine off of Ebay...brand new for about $22 shipped.

I bought pretty much the same thing at macy's or some store like that it and it worked great. I would not pay the price of spanx when I can get the same thing somewhere else for cheaper.
