I asked this question in the planning section, but got no responses....maybe it's a dumb question, or maybe I'm just too new to know who to ask.

Anyway... We are going to WDW for DD's 3rd b-day. She will turn 3 on day 4 of our 6 day trip. I know she's free until 3 and free on her b-day. Do I just buy her admission tickets for the last 2 days or will they most likely let it slide and let her in for free? I'm sorry if this seems like an obvious answer. TIA!

My understanding is that Disney will consider her 2 for the entire length of your stay.

her age will remain the same till the end of your vacation , so if she is 2 at the start she will be 2 till you leave , but get her the birthday button for her day and let her have fun , now I don't know if you try to get the birthday gift card or fast pass Disney may say no because she already free for the week but I'm shore somebody else will tell you more about that , I hope this helps and tell your DD happy birthday

She wouldn't be able to get the alternate bday gift since she doesn't have a PH.

She will be considered 2 the entire trip - she will not need park admission and will be free at buffet/family style dining. She will not be able to get the birthday fun card. My dd will turn 6 two days after we return from our trip - I am going to buy her a gift card that she can use for her birthday while we are there.

She will be considered 2 the whole time. BUT she is also not eligible for the bday gift card or fastpasses either. If you want those items than you need to make her 3 and pay for admission the whole time

Thanks! I knew that I wouldn't be able to get the free birthday stuff if we didn't pay for her admission, but I wasn't sure if we could get by the last few days without admission or not. Thanks!

You will not need a fastpass for her. I don't know what B-day gift card, you are speaking of, but we took my GS for his 3rd B-day and told the CM at BWV a few days prior to his B-day and they sent a B-day card signed by Buzz & Woody along with a big bouquet of ballons and he was thrilled. - so Please do tell everyone it is her B-day!!

The bday gift card or the special BDay fastpasses are for the "What will you celebrate promtion" .Guests who travel to Wdw on their Bday are allowed either free admission on their bday, a gift card OR special Fastpasses that allow up to 6 people in your party to fastpass the fastpass eligible attractions in one park only. In order to qualify it had to be on your bday and you have to be a paying guest 3 yrs and up.

We'll start our vacation while she's 9 and she will turn 10 a few days in...:lovestruc
So - she's a child for the purpose of buying the tickets and I can still take advantage of the "what will you celebrate" promotion ??:confused3

Yes. If you choose the gift card option, I would expect it would be for the value of a 1-day base child admission, not a 1-day base adult admission.
