True! When I went to Google on this guy, let's say there's something between him and a Government agency. :earseek:

Aren't you glad you found that out!!! I also have googled several of the guys I have gone out with/met since my divorce. I didn't find anything as good as that though! :p

Yes! And he says that if he meets Ms. Right, he would relocate in a heartbeat. Ummmmmmm...not this way!

Ahh, pw no adventure. ;)

He's seen a picture of me, I haven't seen a picture of him. We haven't been communicating on eharmony anymore just talking on the phone.

Adventure? YES! I need adventure at this point. Possibly putting me and ds in danger? No.

You need a picture of the guy, Suzanne!

This might be a nice sentiment, but it sounds to me like he may not have very strong roots. How many men are willing to relocate "in a heartbeat"?

True. And more things found out online. :earseek: He was listed at a company out there as president of I believe an accounting firm. Hmmm...why did he give it up and go into sales? Is he working both jobs? Sounds strange to me. I suppose with sales you can pick up and move. But not an accounting firm. Hmmm...what happened there?

Hey all, I'm watching the oscars and I really hope Renee Zellweger doesn't win. I am so tired of her weird about to barf face.

Maye it has something to do with him and the government.

Too funny, SuprGro! You're so right!

I only found out about the Oscars when I turned on my computer a few minutes ago.

Not much going on here... I didn't even get online yesterday! So weird for me! I was actually more interested in cleaning my house -- I was looking forward to it all day at work! I must be losing my mind!

Anyway -- February is over. I've started this thing where I review my personal progress every month. Not a terribly successful month for me, but not bad. I threw away 17 pounds of clutter. Woo hoo! Got my junk room, bedroom, and front bathroom cleaned out. Started my Buddy on meds which have turned him into a new man! (I bet he lost at least 10# this month)! BUT I didn't go on my monthly date. I think I'm going to give up on that goal.

TB -- I'm so jealous about Phantom. It was just here, and I didn't even try to go. I'm so lazy.

PW -- 18 months is a long time to win over a man's heart. Go for it! :teeth:

TB -- will you just buy a smaller house? I love my small house; it's the perfect size. Of course I don't own it, but I've been thinking there's no way I could manage anything larger. I have a hard enough time with this one. What stinks is that it's near impossible to find a small house in a nice neighborhood. I'd love to find a neighborhood full of young professionals in a well-manicured neighborhood, but apparently everyone lives in apartments until they have kids and buy their big expensive houses. So I'm in lower middle class ville with the neighbor who thinks it's ok to leave huge piles of garbage out on the curb 4 days before the trash man comes. I was thinking today that I should start going to the gym in order to meet young people. Who wants to come with me? The gym intimidates me.

Did you weigh your clutter or is that a guess? And yes you are losing your mind

I weighed it. I guess that's proof that I'm losing my mind. I am better motivated if I have numbers and goals to work with. I tossed 13 pounds last month, so I'm getting better! :p :o

I figure if I can make this an enjoyable habit, I might even be able to convince myself that exercising is fun. What a miracle that would be! :bounce:

Yes, Jen. Eighteen months is a long time. ;)

Suzanne...you could be right on that.

Jen...I love my small home, too! I've been here 7.5 years and still love it as much as the day I saw it! I'd really like to take it to Virginia with me!! :teeth:

PW- Are you moving to the same town as DHT?

I have a small single family home but like Doc I wish it was in a more desireable neighborhood. I can't stand it here. :(
The house is the right size for the two of us and I can barely keep up with the up keep:teeth: I would like to move to a better neighborhood even it means moving into a townhouse. Plus I think it would do me good to get out of the house we had when we were married.

My gf is going through a divorce and just sold their huge house that cost $7500/mo.!!! She just bought an 1100 sq. ft. townhouse and is so happy to be in a small place. She said having a big house is not all it's cracked up to be.

No, Legs, I'm not moving to the same town. It is within driving distance though. He's at the far south end of the area in Virginia Beach, and I would be far north close to Williamsburg. He's actually glad we're going there and had three words for me...cold and windy! :scared: I was just freezing here in FL two days ago, how do I handle REAL cold and windy? LOL! I've been talking with a DISer who has been in the town I've pretty much decided on for 12 years. She's very happy there, and it sounds like a great area. Nicer than the town I was originally looking at. Much more residential and less "cityfied." I could easily get to the town where things are. I'M READY!!!!!!!! I could pack up the house and go today! :teeth: And DHT does have some business once a week in the general area I'd be in. ;)

I live in a good, nice, quiet neighborhood. Anyone want a 1,374 sq. ft. villa? :teeth: Two bedroom/two bath. :teeth: And a two-car garage. There's a very tranquil lake out back. :teeth:

PW- I just want to say that I think you're very brave to move up there to a town where you don't know anyone and don't have a job.

Thanks. Well, the move here wasn't too much different. And my brother-in-law and his wife recently picked up, moved from CA to Colorado without knowing a sole or having jobs. I suppose it can be done. At the very least, I can work for a temp agency until I find something. And without a job in FL, there's nothing to keep me here. If I were to continue in school right now, I could do that anywhere. Friends here I find rather strange. They won't keep me here either. I can make new and hopefully warmer friends. ;)

Pin:wizard: ~ I don't know how you can even consider moving to a colder climate! AHHHHH! I live in Chicago and I swear if it is cold when I have to go outside I ask myself "Why do I still live here again?" LOL but hey everyone has a reason. I plan on moving to FL!!! And in time I will, just gotta find out how everything will pan out. I think it is good that you are not moving to the same town, a few towns away is great, you will get to know more people that way too.

Doc~ LOL that is hilarious!!!! Don't feel bad though, I have been so busy with school and work and the homework that goes along with it, that I just took down my Christmas tree a few days ago. :rotfl:

SuprGrovr ~ LOL you crack me up! I never noticed that about her, but you're right!!! LOL

FL::MinnieMo ~ I would be a little concerned as to why I haven't seen a photo, but that is just me. Along with the fact that he didn't meet you or say anything about it when you suggested it. Hmmm.....:scratchin it just doesn't add up for me :teacher:

I met a guy from Yahoo Personals the other day, hmmmm.. not sure if I like him or not. I mean we have talked online and on the phone, but when I met him he seemed to be too old for me, but yet immature for his age. He is 30, I am only 21. But I have dated other guys who were older than me, that last guy I dated was 28-29. And we dated for almost a yr. But this guy I met the other day, is one that has everything handed to him, his "daddy" owns a company, so he works whenever he wants, and he drives a porshe. But yet he doesn't seem to have any friends anywhere near his own age. Just seems weird to me. I met him in a group situtation. Is it just me being picky, which I am ok with, or is it really weird? Most of my friends are 24 - 26 yrs old. I don't know I think I am just going to stick with the finding someone in FL to talk to so when I decide that I do want to move that I will have someone to talk to there.

LOL! And you crack me up! :teeth:  You just took your Christmas tree down? Really? That is tooooooooooooooo funny! But I understand the reasoning!!

I feel the same way about finding someone. Why bother with someone in FL when I'M LEAVING!! :teeth: I have been looking for those around the Virginia area. I've e-mailed with one guy in North Carolina. He said I should e-mail him when I get there. Ha! No way...the point is to get to know a couple people before I'm up there. (Am I too quick to write these people off? LOL!) Then last night I started e-mailing with a guy in Anapolis, MD. Not much to look at, but he seems nice. We'll see how that goes. I have known people that aren't much to look at, but they have the greatest personality that makes them sooooooooooooo attractive! Ha! My OB/Gyn is one...dang! Another married one.

I'm hoping VA isn't too too bad in the winter. Although look at the Carolinas this year...Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Cold and windy...I keep going over those words in my head. I think it's such a nice area, and the people I ran into there were great! :)
