I'm here - waiting for my man to arrive. I hope we are going to go to this Greek restaurant that I have been wanting to try. How have you liked your experience with e-harmony so far. Have you seen pictures of these guys?

Don't you love how they arbitrarily enforce those rules? And for me, they even decided to ban my sig even though it followed all the rules. ::MickeyMo Feel the love.

No hot date here. I have a cold and am watching tv with my kitten Chip. (He has a hidden mickey on his back)

Sorry you're sick, SuprGro! Feel better soon!

I'm having a boring night in front of the computer. Wish DHT would come online. :(

Thanks Pin Wizard.

Have you guys seen the New Wendy's commercial? Three different guys come to the door with different types of chicken asking for the daughter of the house? I have worked with two of them. With the 1st guy who gets turned away. His name is Chad and he is an amazing musical theater performer. And he does a mean impression of Rabbit from winnie the pooh. (ok ok i had a bit of a crush on him) The last guy that actually has the wendy's chicken and gets in the house his name is Lucas and I had to dry his clothes alot, because he was in a play that used the orchestra pit as The East River and they all had to jump in it. I don't know why it matters but I thought it was cool.

SuprGro, are you trying to make us jealous of your job again? Because it's working! :teeth:

Hope your cold is not too bad... bad enough to give you a reason to be a couch potato guilt-free, but not bad enough to make you miserable :p

DHT -- that is funny! He has initials now!

Dang -- the Wendy's commercial was just on as I was posting that, but I didn't realize it until the 2nd guy was on. I'll keep my eyes peeled.

Wow -- where is everyone? I am talking to myself here!

I guess I will share my fascinating Friday night with anyone lurking. Earlier, I thought tonight was a lost cause since I spent too much time online and got lethargic. I even started posting on other threads on the CB. :o But, then I started reading my e-mail reminders and testimonials from my little cleaning/organizing group that I "joined," and I decided to get up and be productive. So now my kitchen, junk room, and garage are just that much more in order. It's amazing what you can do when you just set a timer for 15 minutes and see how much of a difference you can make. YES, I am getting obsessive. Woo hoo! And I'm excited about my next day off... why?... because my steam cleaner came in the mail, and I'll be able to clean some things that have been piling up for MONTHS! I am the biggest NERD! :smooth:

Pretty soon, I'll be inviting you all over for a visit! :teeth:

If anyone is interested in catching the bug, the site is www.flylady.com. I hardly even need the site or the e-mails any more, but it's good for when I get "stuck." If you don't know what I mean by getting stuck, this method probably isn't for you.

Off to shower... tonight is a work night for me. :wave2:

I did clean my bathroom and wash clothes today. Since it was Fair Day for the kids, I also ran around town and did errands. I've found out if I do laundry every week I only have two loads verus the x amount of loads I have if I wait four weeks. I think I can handle doing laundry every week. We'll see.

Only seen one picture from this guy in Kansas. Not a good quality pic since it was taken from a web can. Already on stage four with this guy from Orlando though. I was talking to a friend of mine last night who wants to set me up with one of her single guy friends since I'm dating now. He works for Disney too. That's not a bad thing!

Have a great weekend ya'll!

LOL! Actually, I much prefer darling heart throb, but I didn't want to type it all out. LOL! :hyper:

All right...Jen and Suzanne got me. Truth be told, I did clean a bathroom and did a couple loads of laundry today. Had to! Last night I had to chase the puppy out of the garbage can. As I rounded the corner, I stepped where he peed :earseek: and slipped. Landed right on my butt on the tile floor. There went my last clean pair of jeans...ewwwwwwwwwww! Cold dog pee on your butt and legs is an experience. He pees so much for a little dog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And I tossed out some stuff that I have been moving with me from place to place for years. Ha! Funny how I bring it all over the place and now toss it to simplify things. Have to start getting the house ready to show! :) YIKES! Painting, handyman, etc., etc., etc. I have to learn to NOT be a pack rat. It's going to be tough deciding what to keep, where to put it... , and what to get rid of. ;)

PW is GREAT! It is so easy to make her laugh! :teeth: You remind me of one of my sister's old friends. It became a fun game just to see how much I could make her laugh. It didn't take much!

BTW PW, that sounds like a nasty fall. Hope there is no permanent damage. The last time I fell, my knee hurt for weeks... I was scared at first that it would never get better... I'm not quite familiar with how these older bodies respond to injuries. :o I'm paranoid now that every little illness/injury is going to scar me for life.

That is great about tossing all that stuff! That is one thing "flylady" encourages you to do. Get rid of the STUFF and get rid of the guilt. I am taking the "flinging" of STUFF very slowly. I have a hard time letting go. Last night, my "fling" of guilt was this big peg board cut-out of my name that my aunt made me when I was a teen. I loved that thing. The "Y" at the end of "Jenny" broke off a few years ago, and I kept thinking I'd turn it into a "Jen." What the heck I'm going to do with this thing as an adult... I don't know! I still feel bad. I'm not so sure it's going to make it out to the curb. It's too bad my relatives are all crafters. I have a hard time throwing out things that people MAKE for me.

I am needing some motivation tonight. I sat down to my computer too early and ate too much; now I feel sluggish. I hope it's not too cold tomorrow to use my steam cleaner! Woo!
::yes:: Then again, I've been feeling the urge this week to visit WDW. Hmmmm...

FM -- you only do laundry once a month? You must have a lot of clothes! I do two loads a week and have to go to the laundromat to do it. Can't wait to get that washing machine so I don't have to wait until my day off to do laundry. When I lived with my parents, I was the laundry winch (sp?) and did about two loads every day!

OK, time to go check off some chores on those lists!

(since I'm so off the topic of singles, I could say that this is all in preparation to be able to invite over that special someone, should he happen into my life ;) )

:hyper: Sometimes it doesn't take much for me to laugh. Hmmm...I suppose that's a good thing. It's much better than crying!

No, this fall wasn't bad. I've had times when Max, who is about 75 pounds, ran into the back of my knee. The one I had surgery on years ago. Now THAT killed! He knocked it out a couple times. But I love him to bits any way. :) He's sooooooo sweet. Then several months ago I took the pups outside and came back in the house. Slipped and landed on my butt on the tile floor...right on the end of that bone. OUCH! I sat on a pillow for a week at least with that one. It killed!

I agree, Jen. Some stuff is so hard to get rid of. Especially the hand made things. Some things I just can't part with so they are tucked away again. One that I got a kick out of is this little scissor sharpener that my parents had since I was small. It's just a little piece of cardboard with some sort of metal in the middle. You open and close the scissors through it to sharpen them. It probably hasn't done anything to sharpen scissors in years, but I couldn't toss it. LOL!

Yup, food and a computer will make you feel sluggish! ::yes:: I'm thinking of going in the kitchen and clean out another couple cabinets myself. I'm on a roll. :) Amazing what accumulates over the years.

Good reason to start the cleaning, Jen. I need a motivator myself. Moving is doing it! Have to straighten it up so the house can be shown!!! Woooooooooooo hooooooooooooooo! :teeth:

Of course I am not trying to make you jealous Doc. If I had seen any of them naked then maybe. :earseek: My cold is getting better. Besides I don't think you'll be jealous of my latest job. I am dyeing costumes for a dance show. I finished a group on thursday and though I did a good job, I am not the best at keeping my gloves on while i work. My hands aren't turquoise anymore, but my fingernails are still kinda green. That is not gonna help me find a man. Unless you know any that like girls with Muppet fingernails.

Doc, you are preaching to the choir about "stuff." I have scads of it that I feel so guilty about trashing. I did manage to unload some really bad christmas presents on ebay though. My problem is mostly t shirts. I have a zillion of them and i can't seem to throw them out. Maybe I'll make one of those t shirt quilts that I have read about in a magazine.

Green nails? :earseek: I hope it fades soon for you, SuprGro! I'm another one with t-shirts. I must buy at least 2 every place I go. Now that 36 pounds have come off, I have MANY that are about between one and three sizes too big. :Pinkbounc I swim in them, and they're very uncomfortable because the sleeves come down so low now. But I don't want to toss them. Ha!! I wear my new Williamsburg shirts that fit nicely. Soooooooooo comfortable!! :)

Good job with the weight loss Pin wizard. 36 pounds is awesome.

My green nails are pretty terrible. I think they'll go away soon. I will be more careful about wearing my gloves next week. Or I am just going to clip them all short.

Cute story, my five year old cousin had his fifth birthday today. His little friend came her name was gabby, he grabbed her hand and ran over to his grandmother and said, "This is Gabby, I am going to marry her." How cute is that?

ACK! Another long post lost in cyberspace! Maybe I'll try again later. I've been sitting here putting together valentine's day goodie bags for work (I feel like I'm in Jr High again  ), and now I feel like getting up and moving. It's about time; it's ONLY 2 a.m.!
