TigerBear, I'm in the market for a new computer, too. Sometimes it's so mindboggling. I need a new TV, computer, ceiling fans. Also thinking of dropping the satellite tv and going cable hdtv. Too much research. Anyway, hope to see you back soon!

Doc, glad you know what caused the pain. Did you take an x-ray of yourself at work? Too funny! And watch yourself about that over 30 stuff. This gal just turned 40! And it isn't any better than 30. FYI, acidopholous pills will help any gas problems. I always took them after my c-sections, and boy! I was a new woman! (TMI, I know.)

No, haven't gotten to it yet. Mrs. Procrastinator! I got outside for an hour's walk this morning and have been on the computer the rest of the day. Well, we took a drive, went out for dinner, then I'm here. I have homework I need to do but can't get started. I'm missing darling heart throb terribly. Had a one liner from him this morning. LOL! A short e-mail is better than no e-mail I suppose. Today I feel like he's taking up even more space in my heart.

Well I do want to, but at the same time am fine with this slow and steady approach...I really feel that this is different from anything I have had in awhile. I know that maybe it doesn't make sense, but I really like that we haven't yet (although I am getting anxious about it). I KNOW that he wants to keep seeing me. I chock some of it up to his shyness level, but I think some of it has to do with respect. I really do feel that he respects me, and let me tell you that is an awesome feeling to have (I mean we as women should always have it, but there are not an endless supply of quality men out there, and more often than not the respectfulness isn't there).

Things were much different in this most recent "non-dating thing" with "friend." I was infatuated with "friend" in large part because he was the first person I had really been interested in/had them be interested in me since my ex and I split last May, and I jumped in too fast (of course you never notice this at the time) and some of the aspects of our relationship progressed at a faster level, but then there wasn't any type of "real" connection for it to become a part of. I feel that "work guy" and I are setting a good foundation, so that however this goes it will be nice. I mean if it progresses to more, than we will have something steady to build on, and if it doesn't become anything more, than it is more of a no harm, no foul thing!!

Does any of what I just babbled on about make sense to anyone?




TB - Really glad to see you, hope the computer issue gets solved soon, we've missed you around here!!!

CA - Good luck with that guy. I think that it is sweet that he took the time and effort to really track you down. Hope you have some more "dates."

I understand exactly what you mean. I was telling PW the other day that I find myself sitting in class, mindlessly copying notes but with my mind completely elsewhere...let me tell you it has been a long tiome for a guy to be this much in my thoughts!!

H_O_P - thanks for the words of encouragement!! Yes it is so nice that he did have a good time with my friends. He had asked me when we left, how often we have done this, and I told him it was the first time, but we all had had such a good time we mentioned doing it again before leaving, and I asked if he would want to come again if my friend had another "game" party and he said yes!! Also it is important to me that my friend thought highly of him. Even her boyfriend had made the comment to her that "work guy" seemed like a really nice guy (and he isn't one to randomly say something like that...or sugar coat anything). My friend also didn't think that she would have guessed how old he really is. He would have been the "oldest" at the party last night. She mentioned to me that if I look at it in terms that "work guy" is only 4 years older than her boyfriend, and that her boyfriend is only 4 years older than me, then it doesn't seem all that odd, and that we are all still in the same "range."

saturday was about 34 so took time to do things outside.
okay need info please????? friends with 2 girls 12 14 age.
traveling to florida no wdw or universal they said sight seeing and beaches. they arestaying around orlando or south.????
they can go both ways well east or west that is to water.
snorkleing, swimming, things to see????? any help for them???
maybee down to key west for the day ???????

Well, my aunt and uncle have taken their kids to Sanibel for YEARS! They eventually bulit a house and moved to the west coast. My sister has found some gorgeous places off of Miami with coves that she says are GREAT for snorkeling! Hmmm...take your pick. And I guess you can't go wrong with the Keys. I've never been there, but once my husband and brother-in-law took off for a few days of fishing. They loved it!

HI ya'll. Been busy with new guy. Our first date was Friday night and ended early Sat. morning. Had a great time! Went to a sports bar and talked forever and then went to see a bad movie, but we enjoyed each other company.

Had second date last night. Won't see him tonight, but we already have plans for tomorrow since we are both out. So to say the least, everything is going GREAT!

Looks like I found myself a babysitter. That's one check mark off my long list of things to do. She's actually going to do more than babysitting....she's going to help me get organized!! At least I hope so. Of course, I said 2010 would be my year, but if we move it up a little, so much the better!


FF, for what it's worth, I enjoy the Gulf side more than the East Coast. Some decisions would be based on whether they're flying or driving? Keys is a FAR drive. There are lots of things to see and do in FL, apart from WDW and Universal. Need more info to help!

Vicki...I'm neither studying nor sprucing. I'm day dreaming and getting a new laptop going. HATE the dang keyboard. I've typed a couple things more than once already. Grrrrrrrrrrr... I seriously need to have a moving party!! Tonight I want to cry. Yesterday I wanted to scream.

PW...the bad movie was Mona LIsa's Smile. He thought I had dragged him to a chick flick, but I wouldn't even call it that. It was a looooooooooooooooooong movie! We wanted to see Along Came Polly, but there weren't enough seats. We are suppose to go see a Baseball exhibit tomorrow. I'm not use to staying up so late! At least tomorrow will be an early night since we both have work Tuesday morning.

Suzanne- Oh I am so glad to hear that things are going great for the two of you...you are already onto date #3, boy you do move fast! Maybe we should all take lessons from you?? Sorry the movie you saw was bad. Along Came Polly looks funny, in fact..."work guy" and I are going to see it Friday!

Speaking of "work guy"....tonight was impromptu date 4/5!!!! He came by work as we were closing and we decided to get some dinner together. Two grocery stores and a fast food place later we were back at his place with our dinner. Ate and watched some TV and talked. I stayed until about 11:15pm, but had to go home because I had some school work that needed to be submitted online by midnight Don't think he wanted me to leave. I had mentioned leaving around 10pm because I knew he had to get up for work in the morning (I don't work or have school tomorrow) but he convinced me (it wasn't too hard) that he was fine and didn't need to get to sleep yet.

Oh and a very positive kitty update....I try not to startle her and have been allowing her to sniff my hand for as long as she wants (when she gets close enough) today she was sniffing my hand and all of a sudden butted her head up against my palm and wanted me to scratch her behind the ears!! She is still remarkably skittish and only allowed a little petting, but she did initiate it!!! Definite progress!!!

PW- I think a moving party sounds like a great idea!!! You know that we would all help you if you needed it!!!
