Just got home from picking up DS from school. Nothing exciting planned for tonight...just me and my Physics book. Anyone have a date tonight? I know...Disney845 has a "date" tomorrow night that isn't really a "date." LOL!

Nothing exciting here. I've got an evening meeting at work and won't be home until probably 10. Blech.

k.

So sorry about the meeting, Kim! It does NOT sound like fun. :(

Great point, TigerBear! :teeth: I should be doing my homework. So how come I'm DISing and my physics book is in the other room? This has been an extremely tough semester...can't concentrate!

Then I was sitting here thinking...First of all, it feels like 2 a.m. instead of 8:20. :o I guess that's what I get for sleeping 2 hours the past 2 nights. Any way...I'm wondering how in tarnation so many people end up married. The uncompromising ones I mean. I just find it amazing since I can't seem to get the act together...LOL! Think about it. My number one item...timing is EVERYTHING! Okay...that aside...How do these people run into each other and have the same great feelings for each other? I've always managed to have one of us have those feelings. I've never had it happen where both felt it. :( What's the trick? Anyone have any secrets to share? Sometimes I just don't get it. :earseek:

PW, your point reminds me of the first time my ex mentioned marriage. The thought that went through my mind? "This man is crazy". But I ended up married to him. In my current relationship I seem to have stronger feelings for him than he does for me (on the same day he told me that he doesn't know what love is, he told me that he doesn't know if he can live without me  ) . Its not that great of place to be in. So, I'm just enjoying the relationship for what it is and at this point don't have much hope that we will have a future together. What is really confusing is that he certainly acts like he loves me...

Maybe when two people feel the same intensity for each other it means they found a soulmate? So, how DO you find that??? I want to know!!!!!

Exactly my question!! Why do some find it and for others it's near impossible?!!!

I don't think it's "just luck," although that couldn't hurt. You need some kind of patience and commitment to see you though the rocky moments. Even the most intense mutual attraction is going to hit speed bumps at some point. Not everyone is willing to work through those.

I think balance is important. And there are so many different things to balance...

I don't know about that, I'm pretty sure some of my college professors did! :p

I know some who didn't even read the paper and gave it a grade! :)

Hmm...Wish I could do that, but I would feel too guilty about not reading the papers.

I saw my History professor do that with someone's paper. He just fanned through the pages...didn't even read anything. Then put an "A" on it.

So, Disney845 has her hot non-"date" tonight. I wonder if she'll make it home. ;)

Anyone else doing anything good?

You deserve a little guilt. You don't get paid an obscene amount of money anyway. :)

Does reading three stories, singing Christmas carols, getting drinks of water, practicing the alphabet and saying good night prayers count as good?

Or were you looking for something more along the lines of beard stubble and 24 hour non-dates?

Astrid....where are you? Has it been a while since we've heard from you, or is it just my bad memory?

LOL, VIcki! :) :teeth: The kid thing is fun, but I'm looking more for the beard burn and 24 hour non-"dates." :Pinkbounc
