I have a couple questions for her. Last night was just horrible. I don't know what I'll do tomorrow. Staying in bed all day sleeping sounds like the best idea!

Staying in bed isn't an option for either of us! My friends anticipated my feeling this way, hence the tickets for tonights performance. One of the gals said the girls and I can hang out with her and her family Monday. Just might do that.

My poor parents. They don't know what to do. They're in Florida now and I know my mother would rather be here for me. Well, we'll be there in little over a week.

In the mean time, let's hope Suzanne finds PC, Diane finds a job p ), FF finds the moon, Barry finds more coupons. If we think of other people, perhaps we'll feel better ourselves. HEY! Your paper is done!! Something to be happy about!

You're very lucky you have such great friends. Although I've found myself more uncomfortable in the company of couples. I hope it's a great evening for you. Yup...hoping for all those good things. And I hope your parents have an easier time. The lady that's widowed isn't a DISer. I know her from a widow's board on AOL. She's not single. She's remarried. She, like lots of us, was in that total fog the first year, her second year was worse (sorry Vicki, it gets worse before it gets better,) and she decided then she wasn't going to be alone. She met her second husband through friends. Why don't my friends know any decent single men???????????????????????????????? I'm so bad at searching for one. I need to run in to him! LOL! I'm not laughing!!

Yeaaaaaaaaaa! I'll be busy today to keep my mind off things!!!! I just talked to my friend, Janet. She's a Close to My Heart consultant and needs help stamping cards...1,000 of them!!!! LOL! I told her what tomorrow is and that I've been crying all morning. She said I can help her with the cards and visit with the other ladies...yea! Girl talk!...and stay until midnight if I want to. I'm headed out for an hour's walk, taking a shower, and bolting over there with Richard!!!!!!!!!!! Thank heavens for good friends!!!

Well, I'm home from my big night out! We had a lot of fun. It does feel a bit strange, going out with two other couples, but the men look on me as a friend, too. Dinner was the best I've had in a longgggg time. Had a hefe-weiss bier. MMmmmm. Then went to the show. Hilarious! I laughed so hard I cried. My ribs will hurt tomorrow morning, I'm sure!

Took the sitter home in some pretty dense fog and now getting ready to go upstairs to bed. Just thought I'd share my night with you all.

Speaking of deer hunting....another friend of mine is in MO hunting. He called and said he got a 12 point deer. Didn't know they existed. He's going to be freezing it and bringing it home. Better not bring any little baggies to my freezer!

Lots of PD to you, TigerBear! Before Christmas!! Can they do that to you? Shouldn't they be required to give you more time? Perhaps you can find out when the department Holiday party is and schedule it the day after...their minds may be in a blur.

What's Astrid trading? I missed something.

Well, if anyone gets too cold, you can visit my HOT house since my A/C doesn't appear to be working! It's beautiful outside, but HOT in here. I guess the A/C company is next on the list. Last week the electric company and an electrician were here to the tune of a LOT of money!

I'm headed to my friend's house again this afternoon to help her make pretty cards to donate to her husband's company to sell and give the proceeds to a children's organization. I was there until midnight last night! Not staying so late tonight. I think 6 or 7 will be my cut off. Still have to look over that Lit paper and decide if I want to change anything. I'll do that tonight. Have a GREAT day, everyone!!

Hi guys!!

Kind of a slow weekend. Worked yesterday...going to work again in an hour or so...woke up with a bit of a sore throat...really really hope that I am not getting sick! I don't have time to get sick!! Nor do I want it to interfere with my fledgling social life Have plans to go out again this Wednesday!!

My ex is so weird, he calls last night to ask if I took the crock pot when I left (I did because it was a christmas gift to me from his grandmother a few years ago)...we lived in an apartment, the only place the crock pot would have been was in the small kitchen, he can't open up the cabinet and see that the crock pot is not there?? Then he says, well I should go, I will call you later...(like we are having a conversation that needs to continue) I said "Why?" and then he was like...oh ummm I guess I mean I will call you some day....

He calls every couple of months or so and says something like, "I found something of yours (brake pads, warranty for a stereo...other silly things) and says he will send them to me. He never sends any of these things. I don't really get why he calls, my best friend thinks he just wants to talk to me, and uses "finding things" as an excuse, because really if you found something and were going to mail it to someone, is it necessary to call before hand? Not really you could just mail it. Oh well, I doubt I will ever see any of these so-called things he has found. I actually think it is sort of funny now, and just laugh about it.
