Okay...I've Called the Late Night DISers, Now I'm Calling the Single DISers (Part 2)

Aaaaaaaaaaaaauuuuuuuuuugggggggggggghhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!

I don't feel any better. :earseek: :earseek:

Hey guys!! How's it going? :wave2:

Home repairs are going really well on workguy's house. We have since cut down 4 old trees in the backyard (what a job that was) and landscaped with numerous palm trees and other plants, and painted the outside of the house (he finally decided on a color after only about 9 months!!).

I shot a gun for the first time in my life on Tuesday. Work guy is somewhat into handguns, and we went to an indoor firing range where I shot 3 out of the 4 guns he owns. I can't remember what kind they are (I am such a girl!!! ;) ) but I chose not to shoot the 4th one b/c the third one was big and loud enough (I must admit I flintched and closed my eyes each time the loudest one went off!! ). Afterward he asked how I enjoyed it, but I said that next time I wouldn't mind if he went by himself (he actually hadn't been in almost a year), it really just wasn't all that interesting to me.

We are spending Sunday down on the Intercoastal on a pontoon boat with his family to celebrate Memorial Day.

I think I have opened a pandora's box. I picked up my last year's unofficial guide to WDW for 2003 (oh you know, the giant 800 page book!!!) just because I was feeling a little disneyites, and now WDW is all I can talk about. Resorts, parks, restaurants, rides. The other day I must have been rambling at hyperspeed b/c WG turned around and put his finger over my mouth and said "shhh"

I have got him talking about it though, although he doesn't really understand the scope of it yet. He went to the Magic Kingdom (which he constantly refers to as Disney World...ahhh he has so much to learn!!) and Epcot once when he was younger (pre-MGM and AK), but wasn't feeling well and didn't have the best time. He doesn't know if he is interested in AK at all (thinks it is just a zoo), mentioned staying offsite (b/c of the cost of onsite resorts) and asked if I was going to be like some scary theme park controlling person, mapping out everything we do to the second (my phrasing not his). I have since assured him that I want his full planning help. In fact I said that planning is almost half the fun of the whole trip!! I am more excited about getting a chance to share my favorite place with the man I love who has not yet really experienced it.

I have gone over the rides/attractions in MK, Epcot, and AK (after just those he needed a nap!!! ;) ), and explained them all to him and had him rate them on a scale of what he is really interested in, what he would like to see given time, what is doesn't care if we see, and what he doesn't really want to see. He said when he got home tonight, we could move onto MGM!!!!!! I am so excited.

Hi Disney:wave2:

First and only gun I ever shot was a 357 magnum in the woods of Georgia with some crazy guys.

I've been to Disney so many times that I've seen just about everything. Now it is so relaxing when we go. Whatever dd wants to go do, we do. We don't have to have a touring plan. Don't have to see every parade etc. Of course with someone like WG that hasn't been in ages you must have a touring plan. And I'm sure you want to share everything in that wonderful, magical world with him. Don't miss Wishes fireworks in front of the castle!

It must be tough living so far from dbf. Will you be moving closer to him?

I'm tired and frustrated with men who say one thing and then drop the ball on it without any explanation. :( A little courtesy would be very nice.

We've talked about that very possibility. It is an extreme possibility, but not right now.

PW...don't know why some just can't be upfront about everything. {{{hugs}}} I would ask him about though b/c what do you have to lose?

We won the hockey game last night. It was soooo loud in there. I also learned how to text message on my phone yesterday. Boy is that fun! Today is officially my last day at work. Should only be there for less than an hour! And then two whole months off. What is a girl to do with herself?

2 months off!!! :earseek: :earseek:
That's a good reason to become a teacher:teeth:
I would get so relaxed it would be hard to go back to work in the fall. Do teachers also get paid over the summer or only during school?

PW- is this the DHT lunch thing you don't feel good about?
 Hope you feel better!

Got another eHarmony. 53 y.o. and on west coast of FL (not Naples). Sounds like a very professional and well-educated man. And lives in town of more than 1,900 people :teeth:

Chris and I have sort of talked about that too but not now, more like after I come back from WDWCP.

Hockey: :cheer2:

Text messages: Oh boy I am addicted to those. Chris and I send messages all the time. It's nice to get a little love note when you can't really talk to or see them.

Men and courtesy: Almost like an oximoron. LOL :rotfl: I haven't found very many that can even tell me what it means. :teeth:

 to a good weekend. Maybe you and DS can go to the beach or a Memorial Day celebration this weekend. Maybe you will see some guys in uniform ;)

Chris wants to go to the demilition derby this weekend, :teeth: I asked him who he was planning on going with and he didn't mention me at first but then he was like you don't have to work that night do you? I was like no, then he got all excited. LOL He was like YAY you get to come with (if you want of course) LOL. Such a cutie. (he hates when I call him that.) Now he said there might be a few people from work there, and I asked him how that made him feel he was like honestly I don't care, I was like me either. If they don't like it tough! It's my life not theirs! :)

BTW Chris says hi legs :)

Things are getting busy for me with everything going on: school, work, leaving in less than 90 days! :earseek: , trying to spend time with family, friends and Chris. Ugh. The 4th of July will be the last holiday this year I get to spend w/ family, and we usually celebrate but not all together in a big group (and I have A LOT of family) So I hope I can talk my boss into giving me the day off. We'll see. I have 4 weeks left in this quarter of school then 2 weeks off then 6 weeks till I leave. Which I will be taking 2 classes that I have to finish early in those 6 weeks instead of 11 that's 5 LESS WEEKS! AHHHHHHHH!!! :earseek:

WELL I see everyone is working, just remember IF you have NOTHING too do and you are in the cleaning mode just COMEON BY :teeth: ::yes::  :hyper: :teeth: and make your self at home.

I do hope everyone has a very S A F E and FUN weekend.
If you see a VET tell him THANK YOU for time served mostly the older ones. I do have GREAT RESPECT and HONOR for them

again have A safe weekend all remember to look at the moon and stars. they can make your night peaceful.::yes:: :wave2:

Yes, and thank you. :) I did send him an e-mail and said a little courtesy would be nice. He e-mailed back and said we're still on for lunch, but he has to find room in his schedule. This weekend he has to give three different speeches in front of more than 5,000 people at each. :faint: He's apparently home working on those today.

So, how do you feel about the 53 year old?

Suzanne...Congrats to the hockey team! Thinking of moving closer to bf? That's a GREAT thing!! ;)

Hi, Disney845! :wave2:

MDP...Guys and courtesy. Hmmm...are they forgetful? I'm sure their mothers must have taught them along the way. I know I try to teach DS, but it's not working very well. Do they have a gene against it? And I'll be looking for those guys in uniform this weekend! Woooooo hooooooo! I must be able to find some somewhere.

I would need to be medicated first :earseek:

Maybe I should try an older man and see how I like it? At this point, any man will do. Well, not really but it feels that way sometimes. If I speed things along we could meet when I'm on the way to Sanibel the end of June. And he could meet my mom, sis, neice, nephew, dd..........might overwhelm him :teeth:

Will probably do something with friends on Sunday after dd's dad picks her up. One friend wants to do something "out of the box". Getting something to eat or seeing a movie won't cut it. Any ideas? I say fly to the Bahamas but we only have 8 hours for an "out of the box" experience.

:magnify: I know they are out there somewhere. Guys with courtesy and in uniform. :) LOL :wizard: goodluck with that! And with you as his mother I am sure he will learn it. :) ;)

Hi FF!!!!! :wave2:  I hope you have a fun and safe holiday too!

Have you seen the guy's picture? Don't overwhelm him and scare him off so soon. LOL!

Out of the box. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...anything going on in Palm Beach? That's a different world to me. Ha! :)

No. He has a picture but has chosen not to show it right away. I don't want to scare him away but all those people will be with me when I go to Sanibel.

Not sure. We may go to downtown Delray. Now that's really out of the box:rolleyes:

Ok, are you ready for this? I actually sent questions to 2 of the eHarmony guys. Yes, my first attempt at communicating on eHarmony. One is 51- pilot in the Keys who dives for Spanish artifact. Remember him? I've kept him all this time. The other is 53 on FL west coast in healthcare management and rides a Harley:eek:
