TigerBear...I bet the Renaissance Festival was a lot of fun. Haven't been to one in years! I planned on going to one several years ago in FL. Don't remember if we actually went. Prior to that it was one in Sterling Forest, Tuxedo, NY years ago as a kid! I still remember that one.

Legs...Any update on the job yet? That quote of Jerry Hall comes into my mind occasionally.

Trying to get my butt into gear to pack. Going to disney this weekend for a nice long weekend. Need to relax and have some fun. Had an accident, fender bender, with a guy yesterday. Two blocks away from Brianna's school. Had to call his insurance today and he hadn't even reported it yet. At least not a lot of damage at all so I can wait his insurance out.

Let's just say the name of the doctor I interviewed with last week was "Dr Fluff". I learned the real dirty details of the job from the nurse manager that I interviewed with today
No, they actually can't compete with my salary.
Might involve call every 3rd week.
There was other stuff too.
The way the doc talked it sounded like a dream job. You know what they say: if it sounds too good to be true...it probably is.
There are 2 other applicants. The manager said it would be a tough choice. She would let me know next week.
I don't feel like I will get the job though. Just a feeling I have.

TB- That's nothing. When I was in NYC, I went in Toys-R-Us and looked around. I rode the ferris wheel in the store. And I didn't have dd with me!

Legs...Thank goodness you learned the dirt about the job before you had left your current job and were actually working there! I don't think I could ever work for a doctor...or maybe a lawyer. As a nurse once said to me, in a doc's office, they are the god and you are the slave. From the stories I've heard, it's true enough. Of course you do have your rare ones that are wonderful to work for. I know I am the only one here with her biological clock ticking, but did you hear about the 59 year-old woman about to give birth to twins? They are her own eggs! She is a great grandmother and had her tubes tied 33 years ago. Imagine her surprise at finding out she is pregnant. At least that means you guys are right - there is hope for me.
