I've seen pins with this in the title. The dictionary doesn't give a clear definition of the word and I can't seem to put it's definition in conjuction with a pin. Thanks for the help...
I am 99% sure they are the types of pins that if you move a certain way the image on the pin changes.
EX: The Villain Pin from one of the DL events. They a had a picture of a villain on the pin posing, but when you moved it a certain way, their faces became mean faces.
I hope this helps, it was my best attempt at explaining this type of pin.

They are kind of like holographic. I have the lenticular July 4th and the background changes from stars to stripes when you turn the pin to a different angle.
and that round goes to Sorcerer_Matt who had the correct answer!
Lenticular means that the image changes from one printed image to another image via a clear prismatic surface. The ultimate lenticular examples are the Haunted Mansion and Pirates cards by Kodak that were available at the Disney Gallery.
A hologram, although acheiving a similar result, is much different.
Sorry snowggoseltd, I know this has nothing to do with present post but I was wondering if you got my email about a previous question you had asked? Please email me and let me know if you did. Thanks.
