what do you people decorate your rooms with i mean i want to change mine up but i have nothing i was thinking some picture frames and more shelves but i dont know what to do. does anyone have any ideas?

do you want to change the color of the walls?

your bedding is a quick way, and it can completely change the tone of the room. but some bedding can be pretty expensive.
also, make some collages out of magazine pictures.

I painted mine purple last summer. White frames, but it's mostly covered with frames, and corkboard and picture board thingy and some posters....

It's perrty squished in my room. It's smaller.

I usually buy a couple magazines.
And take ads out and put them on my wall.
I have like four Marc Jacob adds on my wall.
Whoever does them is a genius.

I want to paint mine a sandy color, with the trim dark brown. I want very modern, contemporary, sensual decorations. Candles and such. I can't really explain it.

Mine is light blue and yellow right now. I painted it when I was 11. I'm sooo sick of it, I need something more mature in there.

Maybe buy posters to decorate your walls with.
&& magazines to cut out pictures and ads and such to make collages or to put on your door or around your mirror.

My room is lavender and I'm actually re-doing it at the moment.
I'm going to put up more shelves to display my stuff on.
&& sometimes when I'm bored I take blank sheets of computer paper and draw on them and hang them over my dresser. It make's me feel more comfortable in my room.

i like that.

my walls are white and i'm going to decorate it tomorrow by cutting out pictures or printing out pictures of people who inspire me or i like examples: authors, artists, or musicians and i'm going to paste them onto a construction board and put it on my wall

and since my bedding and curtains are blue i'll draw some blue stuff like small hearts or smiley faces and put them in different places on my wall so it won't be plain on the other sides.

i get the teen magazines and hang up the posters in those and u could print some pics of the internet that is what i do too....

My room is purple with Pirates of the Caribbean posters and pictures everywhere, and a Pirates of the Caribbean wall border. Maybe you should find a theme to your room?

I put movie posters and such on my wall. Like the big sized ones.
I don't really like the colour of my walls so I like putting stuff on them.
I change them pretty often too, it's an easy way to have your room look different without doing much.

This was my room a couple of months ago;
100_6666.jpg

(those are pictures from a PARIS calendar I had, since the year was up I just took the pics and put them up :D)

100_6663.jpg

(I put those little lyrics sheets from CDs on my closet, and sometimes I put the actaul CD covers up too)

100_6660.jpg

(those are my posters, most of them. The "Thank you for Smoking" one is now "Disturbia" and the one of Johnny Depp from "Crybaby" is now "Little Children")

100_6659.jpg

(and there is my "little miss sunshine" poster, which used to be "snakes on a plane")

I also change my bedding often too, because I can't really paint my walls, that's a quick way for a change.

My bedding was that brown one n the winter, now it's purple with flowers on it. :goodvibes

--I have a bookcase full of picture frames with pics of my friends and family.

--You could also try putting up a poster of your favorite celeb or from your favorite movie.

--Move your furniture around. Instead of having you bed against the wall, try it in the middle of the wall. Or just turn it around.

--Buy or make new pillows.

--Buy a bright throw rug to put in the middle of the floor.

--Get or make your own funky new lampshade.

--Hang beads in your doorway.

--If you have a window, get static window clings.

--Buy the little glow in the dark shapes and put them on your walls.

--Buy a colorful wind sock and hang it from the ceiling. It's a great way to bring the outdoors in.

--Get some creative bumber stickers to put on the back of your door.

Whatever you come up with, make sure it's what you want. And, if your interests change, be sure that whatever you decorate with can easily be taken down. :)

ok thanks for the advice you have wonderful ideas ya now that i think about it you are right you should make sure the things ccan come down easly
