Okay I need a little help

I was under the impression from our guide that cash resies at other disney resort (non DVC) were discounted to DVC members with some exclusions. I called MS today to make such a resie and they told me that the discount only applied to DVC resorts. Who is right?

So far as I know - it is only available on DVC resorts. I hope so anyway, as i have just paid full price for the Poly!

Only DVC resorts and not all the time. Sometimes it's available, and sometimes it's not. Probably depends on how booked on points they are. We have been able to get a discount on the larger one/two bedroom DVC units of 25% off at certain times.

Do you have an annual pass? I was able to get an AP rate through DVC last May for the Yacht Club.
