Maybe it was an honest mistake, as in, maybe she had seen the housekeeper earlier and you really did look like her?
Because, that happened to me once. I went up to a lady assuming she was the housekeeper because dang it all she looked exactly like the lady I met that morning coming out of my room. And she was a 50'ish white woman with short red hair! Now, if she had been another race I'm sure people would have thought I was racist but I will swear till the end of my days it looked just like her!! LOL.
Isn't it possible it could be something innocent like that?
