I really did not care for Pastamore.

I don't like it either. I also don't like the International Food and Film in US. I'd like them to focus just on great Asian dishes. like the noodle station in the MK, but better quality.

Sorry but Pastamore is one of our favorites. I also like Hardrock, but none of us cared for NBA city.

I enjoyed Hard Rock as my favorite restaurant in CityWalk but not Nascar.
It seems like not many do, but I also enjoy Mel's Diner inside Universal Studios.

Reverse that for me. IMO, Hard Rock is the worst restaurant in CityWalk (that I've tried, anyway.) The food is usually awful and it's too noisy. NBA City's theming is somewhat cheesy, but the food is generally great and I'm a basketball fan, so...

In the parks, steer clear of Mel's in Universal and that circus thingy in Suess Landing. Blech.

Mel's in Universal is dire, that's the only place we won't eat.

HRC is brilliant.
Also the bakeries in US/IOA are amazing. Better than Disney's :rolleyes1

I agree. Mel's...Blah!!!!!! The worst burger I've ever had. Will NEVER go back!

I've never liked Monster's Cafe. We got really bad service at Lombard's once that left a bad taste.

don't go to Mel's...that's the only place I've had a bad experience

I dont care for Mel's, Monster's, Nascar and Pastamore.
There was or still is a counter service at Universal that we ordered from once and not one of us liked it and we all ordered something different. Cant remember the name but it was in the kidzone area.

We love hanging out at O'briens but not the food so much. We love eating at the HRock. Not sure about that negative on HR food--we enjoy it.

same here, but we don't like Nascar Cafe's food. everyone's different.

Does anybody but me like Mel's? They're chicken fingers are yum.

DH and I have eaten there one time (burgers, shakes, fries) on our very first visit years ago and remember it being pretty good. Subsequent visits we tried the other burger place over by the Earthquake ride, and anytime we've wanted a burger since that first visit, we got to the Earthquake place...just for convenience and where we are with our hunger pains, nothing more.

That is -- until we found Finnegans

To each his/her own! I can't get a decent burger where I live, so they're all good to me when I leave town :)

we ate at mels about 4 times and each time it was typical park food like at disney. burgers were dried out and the frys were spongy tasting.
3 of the times it was like that. one time, the first time there, we must have been hungary as it was ok but overpriced. the milk shakes were the only thing that was decent there.

last year i ate at monsters cafe for the second time. both times were not appealing to our taste. the chicken was overcooked. i guess they are made up in advance and kept warm with the warming lights. both times it was a waste of my money.

i tried louie's two times also last trip. the pizza was yuck. cardboard taste with tomatoe paste, heartburn city it was for us. the salads was ok but not much to it. thought it was overpriced for what i got.

i always will try a place at least 3 times before i call it quits there.
so, monsters and louies will get one more shot of my money before i take it off the list of places to eat at. mels got crossed off the list 2 years ago for us.

International Food and Film Festival was the worst meal we've had there. We really like Circus McGurkus Cafe Stupendous.

Hate Mel's and Monster Cafe

However we love International food court, NBA City and pastamore
