Okay, I hope this is my last pin question ever!

We are going in June, and there's 7 of us, three adults, four kids. Ever since the new promo came out, I've been frantically searching b/c the BLT villas went so fast (and we were all hoping to stay together).

Anyway, my MAIN question is this: with the room only promo, are you NOT allowed to add the dining plan? I can't seem to do this online. I did try to call, and also have a PIN to my address. It seems like I can either A: use the general public promo, book two club rooms w/tix, hopper, etc for the SAME price as using my personal pin with two standard rooms, tix, hopper etc AND the dining plan.

We've done the dining plan many times, but I wonder if we'd (almost) as much enjoy staying club with all of the extra perks, and no dining plan. That way we'd take advantage of food/drink at the resort and maybe book a character meal or two.

HELP! I know this probably doesn't even make any sense!! Does it?!?!

Here is the deal-
Dining Plans are part of a "PACKAGE". A Room Only Reservation (with or without a pin or any other discount) is NOTa "PACKAGE".
SO-
When booking a room only reservation, if you don't have at least a 1 day MYW ticket in the mix you can not add the dining plan. What I did to get around this was use a Room Only PIN and add a 1 Day MYW ticket for each of us. I can upgrade the tickets upon arrival and I was able to add the dining plan once I was sure that we wanted it. Apparently Dining can be added to a "PACKAGE" at any time up to 3 days beforre your arrival date.
The other advantage to this method is that your final payment due at 45 days doesn't have to include the cost of dining or your full ticket cost. I like to float money for free for as long as I can.

Oh-I forgot.
I booked online using my Room-Only PIN. After the room was set up I clicked "add tickets" and added the 1 day MYW tix so the reservation I made online reflected the room and the tickets but NOT the dining plan. I called up a month later and added dining at my expense.
