Okay...how bad IS it really, going to Florida in July?

Those of you who say "We're use to the heat/humidity" sure you may live somewhere with a similar climate but are you outside, walking, waiting in line or inside enjoying your air conditioned home?? Where I live gets hot in the summer *zero humidity ~ low to mid 90s are normal mid June through early Sept* but I don't go outside in the middle of the afternoon.

Yes, I do go out in the summer heat and humidity and love Disney in the summer most of all. There aren't too many lines outside, and we get fast passes so don't wait in long lines, period. I am from the deep LA south so I know what heat and humidity is - we just go with the flow, take breaks in AC shows, etc. and drink plenty fluids. It's usually not much difference a lot of years from April-Oct. sometimes even beyond, so you learn if you were raised down there to deal with it. I'm an outside girl, so could never stay in the AC all the time.;) We went to Disney Dec '10 (first wk) and nearly froze to death. It was windy and really miserable - give me heat any day. That was unusual for that time of year though (high 20's night - 40's & wind days). But what I CAN'T take is the July tour groups that literally TAKE OVER so we skip July and let them have it - totally rude!!!!
