okay here is the deal. We have 4 days left on our magic your way park hoppers from Jan. They have no exp. What we did on our first day was THIS. We had 5 day old park hoppers that were new....got them last Sept. with a military disc. I wanted to add days to it...so I went to Guest Relations...they took those hoppers....brought them up to WDW prices.......then they took the difference in those and added another 5 days....so I only ended up paying 609.00 more total.....for four adult passes to have an additional 5 days...making them 10 day MYWP now..and one child. That was GREAT DEAL.....my original hoppers for 5 passes cost me 1075. So we got a great deal. Anyway....now we are going back in Nov. I have 4 days left.......plan on needing 6 total park days. What DO I DO???? Just add two days to them.....how will they figure it out now. Will I get a better day to add more days for a future trip say in another year or two. Would it be cheaper to just get 2 MYWP for the additional 2 days.....maybe even just get basic ones without the hopper or no exp. and stay in a park all day each of those two days. I have no idea how to approach this and get THE BEST DEAL?? Should I call WDW???/

Prices include the tax.

Is it cheaper to buy 2 day passes? Not per day. If you use up the old passes and buy 2 day basic expiring passes to finish your 6 day vacation you will spend $127. apiece or $64. per day for the last two days, not including hopping(adult). The first four days cost $37. apiece from the old passes for a 6 day average of $47. per day per adult.

If you buy all new Expiring 6 day passes you will spend $209. or $36 per day (non-hopping) or $236 or $41. per day (hopping). (For the last two and also the first four days)

An excellent and easy buy. If you buy all new non-expiring 10 day passes you will spend $330., or $33. per day (non-hopping) or $367. or $37. per day (hopping). (For the last two and also the first four days)

The following is an educated guess.

With 4 days remaining the 10 day hopping non-expiring pass' pro-rated value is $147. or $37. per day. So if you trade the old for a new you have to add $220. (and get 6 more days @ $37. each) Average cost per day $37.

Adding 2 days is done this way. A new 6 day adult pass with hopping and non-expiration costs $294. To trade the remains of the 10 day pass for this you need to add $147. (and get 2 more days @ $74. each.) Average cost per day $49.

You need to keep numbers in your head when you trade up. The ticket agent may just tell you one grand total of additional dollars needed for four adult tickets and one child ticket, and if you don't remember the numbers you don't know whether you are doing the best deal or whether the ticket agent made a mistake.

From what I got from your post, you have 10 day Magic Your Way passes with park hopping, and non-expiration. You don't have Magic Plus Pack, right?

Working on that assumption, each adult ticket is worth $146.54 and your child ticket is worth $128.65. So your total credit would be about $715.

For 4 adults, and 1 child, a 6 day ticket with park hopping would cost $1,188.54. With your credit, your out of pocket expense would be $473.73.
