Okay Disers. I need some advice.

I've decided to come in a day earlier to WDW. Since our flight doesn't arrive until 10:00 pm I thought it might be better to book an airport hotel through priceline and then go back to the airport the next day to pick up our rental car.

Has anyone done this?

What about getting a hotel on priceline. Have you had any luck? I would like to pay about $40 for the night, but I don't want to stay in a dump. Am I being too hopeful?

Arriving 8/25, leaving 9/3, 2 adults and 2 kids (5 and 2).

Done that on one trip. In our case we went right to our WDW and checked in (at around 1130pm). No big deal but I was young. I'd still be tempted to get the car and go to an off-airport hotel. Not that much of a drive to the LBV area from the airport. I am usually wired from travelling so I need some time to unwind anyway.
