Okay what to expect when cruising for the first time on this ship and my last cruise was over 10 years ago

MSC seaside did see a video of actives and if the ship any other information

Customer service off the ship is awful (use a travel agent to book if you can). Ships are nice but some of the logistics on them are a bit subpar. Food is slightly European but you can find something good generally.

I rank them below Norwegian/Carnival/Royal personally but that is based on 1 cruise. We got a ridiculously good deal on our cruise and would do it again for that price... but would go with another line if the price wasn't good.

I know this is a pretty old thread, but having done a few MSC cruises, both in the US and in Europe, I agree MSC should be ranked below Carnival. That said, our last cruise was in Europe in 2019, so it’s been a while and they may have improved in the US market. We’ll find out for sure this summer since we are booked on the MSC Seascape in June. One thing I’ll say that has been true is it’s pretty hard to find better pricing with any other cruise line. Our last two cruises with MSC were both 7 days, and cost just over $2000 each for four of us in a balcony stateroom. Our upcoming cruise was a bit more at $2400 for a balcony, but still much less than Carnival and RCL, and came with free drinks and WiFi.
