Just finished a tentative park schedule and so was able to plan out meals and make my ADRs. Need some reassurance!!! Thanks guys!

DDP with 1 adult & 2 kids (5 & 7)
7 nights & 8 full days
21 credits each for QS, Snack, & TS

Since we are using 2 TS each for CRT, we will only have 6 (18 credits) TS meals over the remaining 7 days. That means stretching our QS to compensate one missing full meal.

On days we will be having a TS for dinner, we can split 1adult & 1child QS meal between the 3 of us for lunch. I just have to look for meals that DD7 will be willing to eat. Can't share with her if she thinks my food is "yucky!"

Some snacks can be used for bkfast. Ideally I can pick them up the night before to eat in the room.

We are staying at BWV so I picked mostly restaurants for dinner that were convenient to the resort since we will probably be in the pool in the afternoon.

Day 1: Arrival Day (12pm check-in) - DS-MGM
3 QS for Lunch
2 QS for Dinner

Day 2: Magic Kingdom
6 TS for Cinderella Royal Table Lunch (1:25pm)
2 QS for Dinner

Day 3 : Magic Kingdom
2 QS for lunch (maybe Cosmic Ray)
3 TS for Spoodles (5:30pm)

Day 4: DS-MGM
3 TS for Hollywood&Vine Character Bkfast (11:15am)
3 QS for Dinner

Day 5 : Animal Kingdom
3 QS for Lunch (Tusker House) DD7 LOVES the ribs at FlameTree but DD5 does not care for anything there - it's too complicated to buy at one QS and carry to another - so that's why I had picked Cosmic Ray at the MK because I could share the Ribs/Chincken combo with her.
3 TS for Teppanyaki (7:15pm)

Day 6: Epcot
2 QS for Lunch (Sunshine Seasons)
3 TS for Spoodles* (6:40pm)

* there was no availability at LeCellier at a decent hour

Day 7: Magic Kingdom
2 QS for Lunch
2 QS for Dinner

Day 8: Check-out (flight at 6:10; ME at around 3pm)
3 TS for Garden Grill **(12pm)

** I actually wanted the CapeMayBkfastBuffet but thought 10:45am was too early with checking out and all.

So, what do you all think? I'm not 100% about Spoodles on Day 6 or Garden Grill on Check-out day. Any other suggestions? They did have availabily at LeCellier for lunch on check-out day.

DH HATES buffets and all-you-can-eats. Unfortunately, most character meals are buffets or all-you-can-eats. Therefore, since he won't be with us, I did schedule a few character meals.

Thanks for staying with me, if you have gotten to this point.

You may find that you can share 2 cs meals for lunch and breakfast. 1 adult and 1 child, unless the 7 yr old is a big eater. When we all went last Sept, my 70 yr old MIL, my self 49 and dgd 4 shared 1 adult and 1 child and had plenty. Use a snack option occassionaly for a bowl of fruit. :sunny:

Hi there...

Personally I didn't care for Garden Grill. Have you thought about Cape May for dinner? We are doing that on Epcot day. I liked Spoodles okay, but don't know that I liked it well enough to go twice. LOVED Le Cellier! I had someone tell me that Spoodles breakfast was good, also.

Also, if you find something on the adult QS menus that DD will eat, you can share 2 adult QS meals -- they don't care at those places and the food will go farther.

8 days... I am going crazy trying to figure out my ADRs for 4! This time we are trying 'Ohana and Crystal Palace for character meals, Kona, Cape May, Brown Derby and Rainforest Cafe. Good luck with yours! :)

It's really only an hour earlier than your other ressie. I think that would be a perfect time. In May, on our check out day we had a ressie a Chef Mickey at 10:30am, and we were waaaaay down at SSR. We packed (for the most part) the night before and made it down for breakfast. Granted we were few minutes late because we woke up late but no biggie. I say go for it.

Thanks! We are thinking about sharing 2 QS credits among the 3 of us for most meals. DD7 is not a big eater but she is a picky eater. Most adult entrees are yucky to her.

Hi Shelly!

We'll be on the ME bus by 3pm so won't make the Cape May dinner!

Only picked Cape May for the character interaction (& Mickey Waffles) since we won't be doing it with DH. But switched it to Garden Grill lunch because I wasn't sure we would make the 10:45am seating at CM.

Maybe I'll forget about the characters and do LeCellier for lunch instead. Or Spoodles for breakfast if after 7 days of food, food, food, we just can't eat another big meal!

We've always enjoyed Crystal Palace. We've eaten there the last 3 trips, dragging a kicking and screaming DH.

I have to think about this some more. Hmmm... We're not one's to rush on check out day. Will need to either call bell services or roll our luggage down ourselves (DD7 is STRONG :teeth: ). Bell services will need to hold our luggage until we board the ME bus since we won't be flying on a "participating airline." sniff, sniff...

It might be doable but I just wasn't so crazy about it that I wanted to stress about the logistics...

Decisions, decisions... :rolleyes1

I think I am leaning towards switching from Garden Grill to Le Cellier for lunch on check out day since I know there is availability.

If we are tired of eating so much, I can always call and cancel. I doubt that a walk-in to Spoddles for breakfast will be a problem.

What do you think?

I should mention that the character interaction was great at GG (we FINALLY saw Pluto, my favorite), but I just didn't care for the food as much as some of the other places we ate.

We usually don't like buffets either, but at Disney it is a different story.
