I need some help. Picture it.....25th Anniversary Dinner at the California Grill. I want to give him a new, narrower wedding band (the one he has drives him nuts!). How would you present it? The slipper is too girly, I love the mini-wedding cake but?????, help help help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want to quite simply blow him away! Part of me says do it there, part of me says have Cinderella tell him she's already taken but .......help!!!!!!!

Why not talk to the manager in advance and have them bring the ring (in its box) out to your husband at the table on a plate covered with a silver serving dome at the end of the meal?

The slipper dessert and mini-wedding cake are only available at Grand Floridian resort restaurants to the best of my knowledge.

DH is a car buff so I would see if they can make a cake or mini cake like the Cars movie and use the wedding ring as a steering wheel

What about a Homer Simpson cake that replaces the donut he's always eating with the new wedding band?

BTW - does this have to take place at California Grill? What other ADRs have you made? Is there a favorite place of his or of the both of you where you could give him his new ring?
