I wanted to start a thread where people could post when they got their FP+ for these two lovely ladies so hopefully no one misses out.

I still stalking with no luck.

Fingers crossed that someone gets one soon!

I think there will be a lot of us stalking the DISboards for an update so I am sitting here with my fingers crossed pixiedust:

Also wondering about a FP+ for 7DMT... Since it's suppose to open may 2... When will it be available to FP?!? I'll be there in May and wanting to FP both!!!!

Same here, we will be there in May and we too want to FP+ both. Will keep watching this thread (and many others I assume) for updates :goodvibes.

Have they officially announced the opening of the mine train yet? I know everyone pretty much has heard about the grand opening event the end of April/first days of May, but the website still says just Spring for now. Doubt FP for that will be added till an official opening date is announced. Probably similar happenings with the Frozen girls

I bet they tier it. I guarantee they won't let you get a FP for both. They would sell out in an instant.

Definitely agree. I am checking every few hours when I can about Elsa and Anna. But I am also wondering, of the ones I've already selected, what may be tiered with them and force me to rearrange my plans. I've seen lots of guesses. But it will be interesting to see what the final tiering system for MK looks like. I will be shocked if there is no tiering once they add Elsa/Anna and Mine Train. Clearly my family will be splitting up at some point. No way is my son going to Elsa and Anna- he hates all characters, but my daughter definitely wants to see them.

We arrive the 21st, the day after they have disappeared from the schedule. I hope there is news soon. This is making me crazy.

The news of the move to Epcot is hitting all the major sites now, so I am hoping that we will have some FP+ options available really soon!!

Maybe I will start a career with Disney IT.... hmmm all the news before it hits, I would be the most popular person on the DIS!!! :rotfl2:

I've seen the WDWmagic posting others have referred to. Does anyone know what it means when all the options for meeting princesses now (not A&E, the others like Cinderella and Rapunzel) are all grayed out on MDE and listed as "standby available". Did ALL those princess spots really get reserved hoping they'd be converted to A&E? Or are they grayed out because they are changing? We are staying onsite 4/29 through 5/7, so we've made our FP+ reservations (which can be changed), but what about the poor folks staying offsite? If princess meet & greet have no FP+ available, does that mean everyone else is subject to the standard line? If so, then isn't that pretty much moving the 5 hour lines from one park to another?
Also, for those who've used fp+ for a character meet and greet, how does it work if there's also a non-fp+ line? Does the character let "anyone" in FP+ line "cut" the long line? Do they take turns? I guess this question applies to any ride, really, not just meet & greet.

My guess is that they are still finalizing their plans, and want to keep all options open, so are keeping those FP+ bookings back until they are 100% certain when and where A/E will be. They can't let people book then chang plans without some upset people. Stay tuned here because this board will light up like a Christmas tree when FP opens up for A/E!

Generally the character lines in some locations are magically able to see about twice as many guests as the character lines at other locations. If you know what I mean......... And it's not because they only give you half as much time......

I think they are greyed out because they are changing and they are getting move dates finalized etc. and also they have to create and install the computer FP+ option for Anna and Elsa if they are adding FP+ for them. Rumor is that Rapunzel will be moving in with Cinderella and Anna and Elsa will be on the other side, so they can't be giving out separate FP+ to Cinderella and Rapunzel when they will no longer be separate. I believe they will utilize FP+ for Anna and Elsa, my question is going to be how long the FP+ wait is going to be. I think it looks pretty clear that they are overbooking FP+ and giving out much more than they used to with regular FP. I saw a report recently of someone waiting in the FP+ line for 45 minutes to meet Rapunzel- to me that is a SLOW pass. They have 2 separate lines going- one for FP+ and one for standby. I've seen it where they take a group from the FP+ line, and then take some standby people in- and then go back to the FP+ line that is always how they do it for rides and I think often for the characters, and I may be wrong on this, but it seems like for characters that are in rooms, sometimes they have a separate room for the FP+ line. ;)

You are correct, if they don't do FP+, that they are just moving the 5 hour line from one park to another. BUT, if they put them in Fairytale Hall, there will be more than one room ;) which will help. Also, there could be other reasons for why they would do that. Maybe they are doing it because they now know that Elsa and Anna will be permanent, and feel like they belong in MK. I haven't been to Norway since they arrived as we missed them by a couple of weeks, but maybe it is congested over there with the long lines and they are trying to ease the congestion by moving them and their lines elsewhere.

It's weird, because the selections for FP+ weren't grayed out for me at all. I just went in only moments ago and selected one each for Rapunzel and Cinderella. That way I can switch one or the other to Anna and Elsa when they finally put them on the roster.

It is also possible that they are holding back on opening those FP slots until they are ready to load the Mine Train slots for its grand opening....... and any other potential changes (cough, cough...... tiers..... cough cough) to the FP system in the MK they might be planning.

Of course it's just moving the line from one park to another, but it's moving it out of a place where long lines don't fit and are more ruining the atmosphere of Norway... and putting them in a place where they've built a dedicated facility to accommodate these M&G lines.

A single pair of A&E can only handle so many guests, so there is no great solution... If they can do 3 minutes per M&G, that's 20 guests per hour. In a 12-hour day, that's only 240 guests they can see. Knock off 20% of that for breaks and food... and you're at like 200 guests served. Not great. Even if they double or triple up on the princesses working that day, you're at 400 or 600 guests served. M&G's are just hard to deal w cuz you've got many thousands of ppl that want a few hundred slots.

Quirkygirl, I agree it would make sense that they will Tier this with the SDMT.

My guess is anyone who had a FP to Rapunzel or Cinderella will just be combined into one group, and they soon have a FP to Rapunzel / Cinderella, while A&E go Tiered with the SDMT. If you had a FP to both Rapunzel and Cinderella, that would leave you the option to see them twice or change one to something else. Just speculation. I have no more info on this than anyone.

To the poster who was just able to FP+ a princess, what dates are you doing this for? I am trying for 4/30 and 5/4 (2 dates when we'll be @ MK, the others at other parks, though I can switch around) and having no luck as of 10:40 EST. They still show as grayed out.

So I saw an official announcement of A&E moving on the Disney Parks blog this morning. Hopefully that means FP+ openings will soon follow as I am arriving at Disney on 4/25 :)

We are there 5/13-5/19, and just did FP+ last night.

All of the meet and greet options were greyed out for me. So I'll be keeping an eye on it for sure!
