Ok, you got FP+ for Anna & Elsa...

The "move" is surprising to me. I thought it would be an addition, not a change. But, if the stories are true with staffing problems, two locations would be twice as hard. The FP here will help, but if you don't have a FP, I think the standby line will be much, MUCH worse.

I've done my selections for FP+ early this morning. 5/13 to 5/20. No problem to select the princess experiences. And I just switched our DHS day to MK and vice versa about 1.5 hours ago. No problem getting a FP+ for Cinderella then either.

I already had a Rapunzel FP+ for early May, but right now, both princess options are shown as grayed out. At least I already have the Rapunzel one. Who knows what side they will be on.

Were you able to get a fast pass for Anna and Elsa or Cinderella and Rapunzel?

Just Cinderella and Rapunzel. I'm still seeing only the two options and it is allowing me to change times.

I wonder if this move will make people "Wait" to see E&A this making the current Epcot location wait shorter?!? I'm going to be there the weekend before the move and I'm hoping maybe the wait will be shorter?!? Wishful thinking?

I think I've figured out how to bypass the "grayed out" situation on FP+, to at least make Cinderella or Rapunzel fp+ reservations. I was unable to get past the grayed out situation when attempting to book my entire family (2 adults, 2 kids) all at once. However, if I went in an manually changed FP+ individually for each family member, I was able to get each member a slot in either the Cinderella or Rapunzel meet & greet (just in case either gets switched to or combined with E&A). The only glitch was no 2 members got the "exact" same time, but we're close enough. For example, my 7 yr old daughter is at 9:05-10:05, I'm at 9:10-10:10, but we could both arrive at 9:10 with that.
The trick I'm trying (not sure if it will work) is I signed up my 8 year old son, who has zero interest in princesses, for the 9:05 with Rapunzel (whereas his 7 yr old sister who IS interested in Princesses is signed up for Cinderella at 9:05). I'm signed up for cinderella at 9:10, my husband for rapunzel at the hour beginning 9:20. That way, if we get there and A&E are at one or the other, my thought is the kids could just swap bands, so that it works out that my daughter is in the A&E slot, and I or my husband will be with her.

I would be very surprised if they group Cinderella or Repunzel together with Anna and Elsa. I would image A&E will be together on their own...

I agree, this is more of a "just in case" thing. I can't see how they will balance fp+ with regular lines for A&E in a day, no matter where they put them. I don't see why Disney could not have them in both places. Aren't there some princesses who are at both MK and Epcot? Belle comes to mind. I've also seen listings for "Snow White in Germany" as an event, and I thought she was at MK?

I think they just don't have the staff to put them in both parks. And I'm guessing part of their motivation in moving them is to fix the crowd issues in Norway.

so after chatting online with a CM here is the information she gave me. At first she thought all the princesses will be one fp but after checking with a supervisor the princesses will all have their own. One for Rapunzel with a visiting princess probably Cinderella and one for Anna and Elsa with a visting princess probably Snow White because of the Mine Train. The fp for princess meet and greets after 4/19 are down due to the update and won't be able to be chosen until they are changed which they have no date for as of this moment. Not much more info then what the original article was but if you have a Rapunzel fp or a Cinderella fp she suggested we keep it due to the fact they may add Anna and Elsa to one of the existing fast passes and just change it in the itinerary so you wouldn't need a new one. Hope this helps!:thumbsup2

I think I am covered to make sure we get to see them on April 28th. I just made fp selections for both Cinderella and Rapunzel, plus we have an 8:05 reservation at Crystal Palace. The move was a nice addition to our vacation as my daughter desperately wants to see them but there was no way I was doing a 4 hour wait at Epcot.

I was able to book M&G with both Rapunzel and Cinderella for myself and my DD on 05/05. Like one of the PP, I had to select mine first and then go back and copy it to her. I tried to do my entire party of 4, but it wouldn't let me. Of course my husband and DS have no interest in meeting the princesses, so I didn't try to get them on individually....

Also, I have the fear that Disney will do like one of the PP mentioned, which is combine the FP+ for Rapunzel and Cinderella and then we would essentially have 2 FP+ for the same experience (Rapunzel/Cinderella). UGH.

I am able to get this glitch to work, but decided not to do it. My assumption is that Cindy and Rapunzel will move together, which will negate the two individual M&G time slots. I imagine that the hold up is combining all those fp+ ressies into one. Technically, the Rapunzel with visiting princess (Cindy) and Cinderella with visiting princess (Rapunzel) could be the same and they will just have a longer queue for a little bit.

I'm holding out for an opening for Anna & Elsa that is exclusive from the Cindy/Rapunzel FP+.

I personally think that the hold up is due to a bigger change. Either adding Tiers and more FP to MK, etc...

If they add tiers and we already have our selections made do you believe we will be exempt?

I'll join in. I am so happy they did this. Our trip is not until late July, but I want to hear everyone's experience with this.

Shouldn't effect you. I was there in December and made selections before HS and Epcot were tiered. No effect on our selections when the tiers started.
