When we travel, we always pack a night light to plug into the outlet in the bathroom. Our kids are older, but I am the one who usually has to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, so we keep a night light on in the bathroom to light the way. Also, the bathroom lights are really bright in the middle of the night.
