Happy New Year WISH Warriors.

I'm not a resolution maker and I know most of you are not either. But it is a good time of year to think about some things you need to tweek.

I did really well last year keeping expences down and channeling funds into trips and paying bills ahead. I need to keep that up. Or win the lottery.

I would really like to drop a few pounds of extra fluff so I need to get the holiday and vacation eating behind me so I can get back to a better eating plan again.

Here is something I saw on another post:

I haven't checked it out but there were several replies that others had.

I guess the biggest thing is to have as much fun as I can, see my WISH buddies a bunch and stay healthy.

Anyone else want to share their thoughts for 2008?

I'll chime in. Here are my top 5:

1. I want to maintain my training, trying to increase the length of my run intervals.

2. I'd like to lose 10-20 pounds and tone up the rest, especially the mid-section.

3. I want to pay down some cc bills, while still saving some money to travel to WDW and other races.

4. I'd like to do 4-5 races this year. (I'm cutting back on the full training after WDW to concentrate on the 1/2 distance and some triathlons.) Once I increase my run intervals at those distances and feel comfortable at those distances (i.e. not like I'm torturing myself to finish) then I'll bump back up to the full training.

5. Finally, I just want to go out and enjoy my training, and the travelling and friendships made through the events, and not let the little things (like work and family) stress me out to much! :goodvibes

Dave--Do you think Rachel Hunter's Fashion Tips would be of any help to me (or you)?

My goals/resolutions include:

1. Trying to behave myself enough that DW thinks I am re-gaining some of my mental stability after the tough past couple of year's I've had physically (although I refuse to act my age).

2. Work on dropping a pound or 100.

3. Get back to regular training and increase same.

4. Try to participate in at least a couple of events this year (I am hoping to do ToT 13K and a half marathon somewhere).

5. Be trained and ready for whatever WDW Marathon Weekend 2009 event I decide to enter.

No Bill I don't think fashion advice would do much for either of us. For some reason I feel that using either of our names in the same sentence with mental stability would be a contridiction of terms. "It's so nice to be insane, no one asks you to explain". I think I heard that from Robert.
